A very good eating experience. Atmosphere was conducive to dinner meal, service from Tim was excellent, food was good. Our group of four had two first time diners and they enjoyed the experience.
This is my second location of visiting a Burntwood Tavern and has consistently been a mediocre experience. My boyfriend's dinner was a cheeseburger and fries but his fries were stale and cold as if they have been sitting out. He asked for a side of mustard but had to wait awhile for it. I ordered the chicken Dijon which was cooked well but the mixed vegetables on the side were pretty gross. Cold, and only had peppers, onions and not sure what the other veggie was but I chose not to eat the veggies. Mixed veggies are usually known to be steamed broccoli, carrots or zucchini but this side wasn't that great. Service was good, atmosphere was beautiful but the food itself wasn't and isn't worth another visit. Burntwood continues to deliver mediocre food and should work on a hiring better chefs and better food quality.
We had a lovely high top table in the bar area with a partial view of the river. The food and service were both great!
We really enjoyed the new brunch menu and had a lovely time on the patio. Great service. We will be back!
Outside seating uncomfortable overlooking dirty balcony. Fish & chips was more batter than fish with no tartar sauce and only a few fries. Steak wedge salad was large and good flavor but steak was overcooked when asked for medium rare and came with no steak knife - impossible to cut! Overall disappointing experience for a birthday dinner
A bit loud, we were there on a Saturday evening when they were busy. The food was excellent. Service very good. Hard to find parking, the lot is small.
It was much fancier than we expected. But great food at affordable prices. Views were very nice as well.
VERY disappointed. Ordered a salad with chicken & the chicken was awful. It's as if the cook rummaged thru the frig & found some leftovers to throw on. It wasn't grilled - wasn't white, chicken breast...I dared not eat the- whatever it was. Ate the veggies only for $17 plus tip :-c
After going there for 12 years could have been the worst meal we ever had. Started off with a skunk draft beer, which I had to return for a bottle. Ordered pork tacos. The pork was over dried and hard, and the tortillas were stale and hard. My wife ordered the salmon and it was overcooked and served with white unflavored rice. Only a good thing about the evening was we had a great server in Olivia
I picked this restaurant due to the location with views of the Cuyahoga River for a family meal in celebration of our child’s high school graduation. The pros were we were all (10) together for a meal and got a family photo outdoors on the porch. The cons were the excessively long time it took to get our food (dinner reservation was 6:30, food served at 7:45pm) and the fact that several of our dinners were served barely lukewarm. One of our guests’ order was wrong (got a cheese pizza flatbread instead of pepperoni). While not entirely unsatisfactory, the experience was below expectations. Wish we chose somewhere else.

Took too long.
Delicious blackened shrimp Cobb salad !! Husband & son enjoyed burgers. Wonderful view over falls & was given a special champagne toast for the celebration!
Great relaxing lunch on the patio, watching the river roll by. Good atmosphere. The food was delicious and our server was great.
Prices are very reasonable.
Beautiful gem of a restaurant on the Cuyahoga River in an historic building. I had perfectly cooked to order salmon on salad with a light dressing. Friend had coconut shrimp. Service was attentive and we say by the window for the view.
Attire is business casual. Good for lunch, dinner dates, and groups.
We recently went as a very special treat. We live 90 minutes away. We were very disappointed. Sat us next to brick even though open tables with view. And food was definitely cut back on quantity and quality since last time we were there. So disappointed, we won’t be back. Our server was very nice though.
