I’ve wanted to try Butcher and Sprout for some time. Heard lots of great things about it. it’s in a great location, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Service was also fine. However, was a bit disappointed in the food. My chicken Parmesan sandwich was very small and dry. Especially considering the cost. Maybe it was just a bad night, but probably won’t be going back anytime soon for the food.

Started off with several appetizers. This is where Butcher & Sprout excels.Buffalo Mac & Cheese Bites, Sweet Potato Waffle Fries, and Shaved Brussels were fantastic and talked about during the meal. The Spicy Margarita with Jalapeno slices in my drink - thumbs up here. Three guests had the Reuben on Marbled rye- all 3 wished it was on Rye bread instead. Also 2 orders of Flank Steak- both not tasty as expected. The mashed potato side - No, Truffle tots- Yes Definitely worth many trips back.

Maybe my expectations were too high for this place, but we found it to be just ok. I think the goal is noble. Fresh farm to table food. I got the naked bruger so burger with no bun . The size of the meat patty was good but it was all smothered in mayo type sauce. Why would you smother perfectly good meat. And when i say smothered it was dripping everywhere completely overpowering. My kid got the smash burger. We were under the impression that it was supposed to be 2 patties but it was 1 cut in halves. The brand is huge so majority of the bread had no meat. And everything was smothered in, you guessed it, mayo. I got sweet potato fries and they were covered in…. Mayo ( fancy mayo, aioli). Dont get me wrong, i like mayo, but why add it everywhere in huge quantities? Service was meh, ordered an appetizer which looked good, however waited a long time to bring it out and it was a cheese/meet plate. Ligerally 2 minutes after they brought it out, our meal came. So we were eating the appetizer with the meal. The appetizer was served on a cutting board which took up the whole table, so things kept falling off our table and our plates were hanging off the edges. At the end, they charged me an extra 3 percent for paying with a credit card and even though i paid half in cash they charged the 3 percent on the whole amount. So overall just meh. We could not come back

Loved this place after a long day of driving and going to Cuyahoga Valley National Park with my elderly parents. Zac was an awesome server! My burger was super tender and those truffle tots! Yummy! Wish we lived closer. Hope to be back someday! You gotta try it!

It's a nice place but it's very small and can get crowded very fast. Recommended making reservation.
