El Meson Mexican Restaurant

The food is pretty good, but I’ve been here on weekends, middle of the day, afternoon, days when we were the only ones here and it does not matter - I’ve never had good service. We wait 30-45 minutes for refills and the check EVERY single time we come here. Can’t say the food is worth the awful service! Can’t reccomend.

Would love to give a complete 5 star.. but I have an averaion to dairy and after saying no cheese and my server saying he would make aure all toppings were on the side here comes my chimi slathered in cheese. I guess I paid $8.50 to eat my chimi at home and re-frying it after having scraped off the cheese that shouldnt be on my plate (along with the sour cream on my lettuce and tomato.. {i guess i cant eat my lettuce and tomato either LOL} NOT ON THE SIDE) and I'll enjoy the margarita and delicious rice! Nice place though, havent been here in 8 years so pleasantly surprised with the Selena (RIP) mural and the new entrance!

Stopped in this evening for the first time. The service, food and cocktails were excellent! I will definitely be back!

Service was excellent as usual. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food and atmosphere are also GREAT!!

Average Mexican restaurant. Nothing that really stuck out in our experience. Salsa was actually good compared to other restaurants. Huge menu. Service wasn't that great. Coke didn't taste like Coke. Food was served hot and was okay. Not a fan of the beef tips in my burrito. Overall, it was average for the area. There are definitely better restaurants than this one.

Haven't been in a couple years since new ownership took over, Went one time after new ownership had taken over, but food was trash everything is four times more expensive, service was horrible, portion size was small, used to get a meal and have leftovers...I could see the bottom of the plate when I was done...what an embarrassment will not go back.. Margarita tasted like garbage... Got a picture of lime margaritas and it had oranges in it..$40 for a pitcher of gold margaritas absolute highway robbery.. family of eight went and spent $200 before tip... We Will never go back...

I highly recommend El meson Mexican restaurant, it is top of the line and I would go here over any other Mexican restaurant in Northeast ohio. Tomas and his team are exceptional in their care to detail and care of customer. Can't recommend them enough! I will definitely be making repeated trips to El meson!

Called in a to go order for myself and family. Asked if I would get 4 salsas with our chips - gal answered yes- NOT so , received a small bag of chips and a single salsa Our WHOLE order was so so nasty - floating in a runny disgusting mess. Never ordered to go there just ALWAYS ate in and received delicious meals - but THIS was Horrible! Felt really sorry for my granddaughter as she headed back to Cincy with her dinner and our 3 in the trash.

Their taco shells for the taco salad taste like the disinfectant spray they use at the restaurant!!! Second time this has happened. I can't get the taste out of my mouth! I really can't believe more people haven't complained about this. It tastes as if it was directly sprayed on the shell.
