Ordered number 1 lunch with chicken and rice. Chips were hot, and salsa was spicy and flavorful. Queso dip spicy, hot and delicious. The only thing was rice was barely warm, so I didn't eat much of it. They seemed low on staffing but still served in a timely manner. Will definitely be back.
The is the best Mexican food in town! Very authentic. The owner asked what we liked and brought us some dishes to try, as well as grilled jalapeños with fresh lime- which were amazing. Great service, good vibe. The food is fresh and the quality of the meat and seafood is great.
Can I give it more than five stars? I absolutely GEEKED to find out these guys opened again in a new spot. I was so upset when they closed the original spot! And to see that it’s the same amazing family owning this state road location as the one spot that was on Howe Avenue. The new space is cozy and warm and feels like a little treasure. Don’t get me started on the flavors. I’d probably hurt at least three people for their tamales. So excited to go back and eat great food...
