Mandarin House Restaurant

So far this is the best Chinese food that I've had in Ohio. That's just me though. So it really hurts what I think, but I really enjoyed. The atmosphere is gorgeous, beautiful décor and the employees are very polite.

We took a friend to celebrate his birthday.
I had one of the daily specials- Garlic Shrimp;
It was wonderful.
My husband had Sweet and Sour Chicken; he thought the chicken was tough.
Our friend's Mom had Wonton soup, she said it was delicious.
I don't remember what our friend had, but he loved it.

First time and last..egg rolls greasy and the chicken was not seasoned and completely bland even the sweet and sour was bad.

We had take away which order took 15 minutes but the food was mediocore

We loved every bite at Mandarin House! The appetizers — crab rangoons, egg rolls, and potstickers — were crisp and flavorful, made even better with their bold, high-quality hot mustard. The combo platters were generous and delicious, and my wonton soup and Shrimp Deluxe were standouts.

Shawn, our server (who looks like a young Owen Wilson!), took amazing care of our large group and got every detail right. Great food, great service — we’ll definitely be back!

After driving 6 hours, this was a lovely place to stop and eat dinner before checking into our hotel. This is a fast and easy dining experience, 15 minutes outside of Akron.

Service was friendly and kind. The food came out within 5 minutes of ordering. We ordered 2 main dishes (beef with broccoli and a recommended Triple delicious), which were filling enough for 2 adults and 2 small children.

I would definitely recommend this for any families looking for a quiet, quick, and delicious place to eat. We were in and out within 35 minutes. Everyone left happy.

I haven't been here for about 6yrs. Always thought they had the best wonton soup and pork egg fu young and egg rolls and fried rice. Unfortunately I decided to order all the above for takeout tonight. Pork egg fu young only had big chunks of gamey tough pork egg and onions in it didn't even eat it fried rice egg rolls and soup are so bland,fried rice was mushy white rice with a little soy no veggies at all and the wonton soup broth had zero flavor.Im so disappointed because like I said everything I ordered used to be the best around.Spent $41.00 and ate two bites of everything and dumped the rest. So sad to see. Definitely will not be going back ever.

Hands down the best Chinese in the area! Also, MaryAnn is the greatest and sweetest lady ever!

I had ordered carry out which consisted of Mandarin shrimp, potstickers, spring rolls and egg drop soup. I'll start with the mandarin shrimp. Fried greasy overcooked shrimp with very little sauce and no vegetables. The potstickers and spring rolls dripped with frying oil. There were no utensils or napkins. The only thing decent was the egg drop soup which is pretty hard to screw up. I had ordered it from here in hopes of having better food than you would get at your typical Chinese takeout restaurant , but overall extremely disappointed.

Foods was good, service was good but they were very short staffed. Our waitress did a nice job despite being the picky one
