Consistently good food & nice portions as well, fish was good last time we had that, gyro & I tried the Max the knife this time, it is so large its hard to figure out how to eat it, definitely recommend that, biggest burger I've seen & its good as well like a big mac on steroids.

Had lunch Sunday with 5 other adults over 65. Server took drink orders and was very slow. Took the sixth order for a cup of hot tea and eventually brought a cup of hot water, lemon and honey but NO TEABAG! Had to summon the waitress through a busboy. Finally got a teabag and another cup of hot water. Apologized a lot. Then we sat and waited for her to come and take our order. She finally came back and asked us if we wanted anything else. We said yes, we'd like to ORDER! She said she wondered what was taking our food so long. Had to summon the waitress a couple more times through busboys for items. She finally came and brought our checks. She never asked how we wanted to pay and who was with whom. She just lumped people together and gave us two checks. Had to send her back to correct the bills. Mind you, the restaurant was more than half empty through this ordeal so it wasn't like she was flustered by the crowd that wasn't there! And the food was only warm by the time we got it. Then she had the nerve to say she hoped we enjoyed our meal! This was no young teenager; she was an older woman. We have eaten at this restaurant dozens of times and the service is usually very good. This was exceptionally bad. If we eat there again and she's our server, we'll ask for someone else or leave. Needless to say, tips were minimal.

We had a big table and everyone treated us very well. The food was great. Get the Firstone Chicken Salad with House Dressing. Also get the french onion soup. Like holy moly.

As American comfort food chain restaurants go, this one is perfectly fine. The food is good. The atmosphere is about what you expect. The service is good.
The past few times I've ordered from this location the food has been subpar at best. The soup is typically watery with next to no flavor. The portions have shrunken and the prices just keep going up. What happened to the Rockne's from 20 years ago where the portions were overflowing? Today was the last straw. I tried to call in a pick up order and was put on hold for well over 20 minutes. Was hung up on multiple times and kept going back into the call in que. I've had enough with this location. I never have any issues at the location in Fairlawn. At this point the Cuyahoga Falls location needs to do the same as the Stow location and close its doors for good. I will NEVER go back to this location. If a friend ever wants Rockne's I'll make the drive to Kent or Fairlawn. This place has done nothing but go downhill and its absolutely pathetic. Here's an idea how about you hire some people if you can't actually run a restaurant. There's other options out there and I'd much rather eat from a restaurant that doesn't take advantage of its customers. Good bye Rockne's in Cuyahoga Falls, I'll see you again when they officially close the doors.
