The Basement was great. Our server was fantastic. We had a table of 8 and she was very attentive. The food came out promptly and was delicious. I'll definitely go back.
I didn't like that there is no name on the building over the main door on the parking lot side. We drove right past the building.

Me and my family came in for takeout. Fries were soggy and super undercooked, super oily. My fish was overcooked and soft, not crispy/crunchy, and everything needed salt. The wait staff was honestly super friendly though!! Loved interacting with them, but the food is poor quality. Would not recommend.
Update Nov. 11th 2024:
Do not eat here. My sister also ate their food last night and had been up all night throwing up because of it. Terrible. Will never eat here again.

I had a great experience at The Basement for the OSU game thanks to our server, Darren. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. His positive attitude and fun personality really enhanced our meal. Highly recommend asking for him!

Here for the OSU game. Lots of fans cheering and good food and drink. Darren was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. I especially appreciated how he reacted to and dealt with my autistic wife by being very accommodating and understanding. Looking forward to coming back!
