Excellent. Been there 4 times the last 6 weeks. Fish dinner and wings were outstanding. Service was very good . Very comfortable atmosphere.

The Boulevard Tavern is a good restaurant to stop at. The food is pretty good and isn't too expensive. They also have some nights where certain foods are discounted. For example, they have a wing night where you get cheap wings that are pretty large.

Set the bar for a while and couldn't get service period. The place has really gone downhill

Limited menu, but the rolled sandwiches and the perch were good. Don't order the Wedge Salad though, because it isn't a Wedge. It's iceberg lettuce with mixed bagged shredded cheese, a few tomato chunks from a bag and about a 1/2 slice of old crumbled bacon. No blue cheese! 🤣

Please go here and get the Socratic Burger. The secret sauce they put on that thang will send your taste buds into orbit. The fish platter is also really solid. Been here twice after it was recommended to me and I am passing along this recommendation.

We had the fish. It came out piping hot and was excellent. The service was friendly, helpful and a bit of a mind reader when my husband called her over and forgot what he wanted. 😄 She guessed correctly and was able to move on. The atmosphere here is family friendly. It's a little noisy but the booths are private enough to carry on a conversation.

A cool tavern with local buzz. Good food and great beer. The actual bar is from the Chicago world fair era, brought in pre-1940. A beautiful piece.
