Vinifera Wine-to-Whiskey Bar and Restaurant

Serendipity. That’s what my husband and I call it when the stars unexpectedly align when we are traveling. Serendipity happened tonight. In Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio at Vinifera restaurant. On our journey from Long Island (to visit our son, wife and baby boy-to-be), back home to Minnesota, we discovered this small, charming, off-the-beaten path restaurant with a wonderful menu, even more wonderful wine list, and the best live music we’ve heard, in forever! It was the very first performance of The Only Cure, a couple of very talented acoustical guitar players. They were fantastic! We couldn’t believe it was their first public performance, and we are thrilled to be a part of their debut. They can be found on Spotify. Find them! Vinifera can be found in Goggle. Go there! And to top it off, as we reluctantly departed, there was a beautiful sliver moon on a clear night, to further enhance our already perfect evening.

Stopped in for one thing only, a pour of the Calumet Farm 18-year Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Vinifera has one of the best Bourbon/Whiskey selections in the area! Everyone is very knowledgeable as well. A great place to try as a newbie or connoisseur.

Vinifera was able to accommodate my group of 13 for a birthday dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious and well-priced for the portions. Staff were friendly and professional, such a lovely time!

We came for a Bourbon tasting and ended up enjoying a fantastic Saturday afternoon and evening here! Bartending was amazing and the drinks were on point, we also thoroughly enjoyed our meals (you have to try the mussels on the weekend menu) We will most certainly be back!! Highly recommend!!

Originally from Chicago, I have been to many different wine and whiskey spots; however, this was a hidden gem. I was delighted to find this place. I met very wonderful mixologists here. Max and Dave were both amazing at making cocktails and whiskey drinks. Highly recommended. If you are looking for a great atmosphere, great service and also great food, this is your spot. My fiancé and I loved everything about this. Also, check it out on Thursday for live music. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for the wonderful time Vinifera!

Food is pretty good, love the aspect that its attached to my apartment complex

Our server was lovely and the drinks were stellar. The chimichurri mussels were heavenly. The salads and flatbread were just ok, though.

Dan was amazing and helpful. He made sure our drinks were full and checked on us regularly.

We got the crostini, and they are enough to split. We chose the Tuscan chicken, sweet and spicy with jalapeño jelly, and pear and fig. Enough to split. Delicious.

We chose 2 flat breads. Brussels and bacon and mushroom and artichoke. Both enough to share.

Drinks makers mark Manhattan and blood orange margarita. Perfecto.

It's definitely worth the stop in. Live music on Thursday. Bottles of wine for sale.

Visited on 12/28/24. Food was tasty but one of our food orders were brought to us lukewarm. The drinks were very good.

Upon receiving our check I was surprised with a credit card surcharge. I get the reason for it but there is nothing posted anywhere (website, menu, etc..). When I mentioned this to the waiter he said he thought it was posted on the entry door - Nope. I guess I should've known since the drinks menu did not contain prices.

I prefer to know prices and surcharges up front. Until then, I'll dine and drink elsewhere.
