I was there today at the location on Miller Lane for the free Thanksgiving, and the food/hospitality was excellent! I hope that they do this again next year.

A nice family maintained restaurant with delicious food. Vegetarian options available. We have enjoyed lunch. Nan is very soft and and Sag Paneer is very tasty.

I had a very disappointing experience at Amar Indian Restaurant in Dayton, Ohio, and I feel compelled to share it.

From the moment we sat down, the service was rushed and impersonal. Our waiter seemed hurried and didn't take the time to properly take our order, which led to an uneasy feeling. Most frustratingly, he asked us to pay our bill while we were still eating our meal. This felt disrespectful and made what should have been a relaxing dinner extremely uncomfortable.

Beyond the poor service, the food itself was a major letdown. The dishes we ordered didn't taste authentic and fell far short of what good Indian cuisine should be. The flavors were off and didn't reflect the quality or authenticity I've experienced at other Indian restaurants.

Overall, between the rushed, inattentive service and the subpar food quality, I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are much better options in the area for anyone craving authentic Indian food with proper hospitality.

Don't try biryani, samosha chat over here. Staffs were polite but food was horrendous, also the tiping system should start from 5% like normal restaurant, they start with 15%. With these food services that's too much to ask for, overall even if you're too hungry you wouldn't wanna be in this place

Excellent service. One particular dish we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala was outstanding. It is perhaps the best Chicken Tikka Masala I have ever tasted. The manager Rich was very courteous.

The restaurant itself was very inviting, once we were seated we ordered and it all went down hill from there, waitress forgot to bring our drinks and never came to check on us once (manager did to bring our drinks). I then found 3 hairs in my food, Im a bearded man so I think one of them was mine but the other 2 were cooked into the food. I didn't say anything as my appetite was gone but I was truly grossed out. What food I ate was tasty but the hair killed it. We then waited 10 minutes for the check at the table and when we just went to the register to pay we found out the waitress had misplaced our order ticket and the manager had to write out a whole new one. Most of it was minor inconvenience minus the hair but I nor my friend will be returning, truly a disappointing experience.

Well prepared, wonderfully flavored dishes. Healthy sized portions. Staff were friendly. Inside was a little plain, but clean and well maintained.
