Went to restaurant after church to order carry out sat at the bar high top table no hostess to seat me.. staff was working it wasn't to busy for no one to greet me with I will be right with you or have you been help or I will get your server it was nothing but I waited at least 15min until some friends walked in 2 people they joined me we waited then the friend stopped a server... the server responded with that's not my station...then we stop another one she said I will be with you after I cash out a table...we waited she walked by us several times didn't offer a menu or drink order so we left after 40min.... I decided to go back around 6pm very few cars in parking lot sat at the bar same server approach me I told her I wanted to order the grilled Oriental chicken salad she said I will get the server for carry out...waited for server as see serves 2guest at the bar it's now about 15min with me waiting she didn't ask if I care for something to drink I then said excuse me before I could finish she said I gave the server your order.. I waited... order came out around 15 min later with one of the guests order that the bartender was talking when I sat down and he had full slab of ribs.....so I checked my order I asked for the bread stick she said we are out of them... nothing else pertaining to my wait..... moral of my story is I'm in the service industry I visited this location regular never have I experience such bad and unprofessional service from the entire staff...they all need customer service training... I tip according to my service and I didn't tip anything I highly disappointed with my experience at this location

Went downhill as soon as we walked in. Numerous tables were open but we were told we would have to wait until 1 was cleaned. We decided to sit at the bar instead. There was only 2 other people sitting at the bar but we waited a good 7 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Finally placed our order only to be told 10 minutes later that the flat top was not working so no quesadilla for me. Ordered the pub pretzels instead and had to scrape off the excessive salt just to eat them. Will NEVER go back again! Very unprofessional employees and the whole place needed a thorough cleaning.

Stared at by 4 or 5 employees when we walked in like what are you doing here? Only 7 tables of customers and 3 or 4 waitresses. Table was sticky. Waitress acted annoyed the whole time. Forgot many things I had to keep asking for. Then told us she was gonna step outside for some air. Food was warm not hot. I got never-ending chicken strips and never got more because she acted annoyed and we wanted to leave. Do not recommend this location

Today's visit was my first in YEARS, and my friend hadn't been to one since his neighborhood restaurant closed permanently. We arrived at 2 pm and there was NOBODY inside.. well, there were maybe 4-6 guests, but none came in afterward! It was very lean in guests and very quiet, which had us wondering if we'd just missed the lunch crowd or was it always this way on Mondays 🤔. Anyway, our server was pleasant, barely allowing our bottoms to touch the seat before she wanted our drink orders...can we settle in and look at the menu first? Though we saw the signs advertising $8.99 burgers all day on Monday, she didn't try to sell us on it, actually didn't even mention it to us, or mention that we were still within the lunch time menu offerings. The mozzarella cheese sticks were really good and our burgers were too, we only wished they gave an option for adding an egg to the top of our sandwiches! When the receipt came, we noticed that they do charge $.50 for an extra cup of marinara sauce-there were 2 of us sharing 8 cheese sticks. You'd think just one extra cup would be standard, without cost and they charge $2.99 for adding mushrooms to the burger?? Overall, we enjoyed our meal and each other's company, so there's not much to really complain about.

Today was my 36th year anniversary since I don't go out very much because I'm a heart transplant list at Cleveland clinic and have a weak immune system I figured I'd order online I ordered myself a Bourbon Street steak and ordered my wife a bourbon chicken with shrimp my wife went to pick up our food when she got home I realized there was seafood on my steak due to I'm allergic to seafood I had to wash off the steak and cook it on my Blackstone grill again and throw out my potatoes and my onions and mushrooms , usually I use this Applebee's quite a bit but lately things have happened there my son wanted to go there for his birthday waiting for 45 minutes at the table before anybody waited on us but watch six other families get their food, and now with this food issue don't know if I want to go back I will keep an eye on the response to my survey Springboro Applebee's

Sunday June 15th at 3:30, waited for 10 to 15 minutes to be seated and was ignored by staff who saw us waiting. They didn't seem busy to us either. We ended up leaving.

Decided to give Applebees another try after walking out 4 months ago because we couldn't get any service. Nothing has changed. Terrible experience! Was seated with no menus. Host person came back and put menus on the table after 3 minutes. Then no one ever came back to table! Never offered drinks, no silverware. There were about 8 people seated. Once again, we got up and walked out after almost 10 minutes of waiting. This place needs shut down. Will never be back.

We really didn’t get a chance to experience a meal at this particular location. After waiting for At least 5 to 10 minutes to be seated, the waitress she couldn’t seat us there was too many (8) in our party. We said we could split up (4 and 4) at a table. The waitress said she was by herself and couldn’t do it. One person in our party said we just wanted to eat. The waitress then said with a very nasty attitude, ‘I can’t serve you.’ Our family is from out of town and had been to the hospital where our love one had surgery earlier that morning and we just wanted to sit down and have a meal before going back to the hospital. In the past Applebee’s has been one of my favorite restaurants and I’ve gone there many times. However, after this type of welcome I believe I could get a much better welcome elsewhere. My sister who was with us said, the Applebees in West Chester, in Ohio turned her and her family of 7 away a few months ago. And just to add a couple who was seated just before we were rejected, decided to not stay and got up and left. I’ve never written a review of this nature be for against a business but I believe this needs to be said. My prayer is for this company to go back and review its company policies. A place can not be blessed by God and prosper with this kind of behavior/practices.🙏🏾

First of all the wait staff was great, but down hill from there. I killed several ants while eating and some other kind of bug. The food was cold and bread sticks were stale. The floors and table were sticky. This Applebee's was really run down.

I went to the springboro pike with my grandson and was over charged and waitress would not believe my grandson was 12 so charged for his kids meal when I had a free coupon she took !!!! There were hardly anyone in this place and it took forever for our food !! This waitress was rude and unprofessional!! I ask for management and was told they were in a meeting!!! I had to pay 20.00 when this should of been 10.00 at the most !!! I would not recommend this place to anyone

After some consideration, I raised my review ratings. I remember when this Applebee's was busy and really bustling, so I decided I couldn't downgrade their rating because of the economy. The food was good. I had the Southwest Bowl (not the correct name). It was filling and offered a combination of flavors. The server was friendly but over worked.

Update: Management contacted me about the situation and told me there was new staff/training. I am sympathetic for that, but would be nice if told upfront. Glad management reached out to me to try to help, that tells me that they care and are trying. We will give them another shot.

Took over 45 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. Waitress wasn't attenuative or checked much, her attitude was a little short too. We typically go to the Springboro Applebee's so we won't come back to this location. It was my son's 8th birthday, she said they have a surprise for him, well, the surprise never showed up. Food wasn't that amazing for the price either, my sandwich seemed like it had been sitting there a while, wife said hers seemed like it was as well.
