Usually their food is good, but today I got the bbq chicken and I ordered 3 pcs, but got four and now I see why...the chicken was dry and hard to chew. I had to pit pieces of it out because it was so dry. I was very disappointed because their food is usually good. I learned to NEVER get the bbq chicken on the buffet....I rather they tell me the chicken was old and dry than to give me an extra piece. Good service, good food. The interior is reminiscent of an old farmhouse, prices are low, and there's a wide variety of southern sides. The only drawbacks are it's cash only and the bathroom is a one seater with outside entry only.
A coworker recommended this place to me months ago and I finally went with a friend yesterday. If you aren’t hungry when you walk in, you will be as soon as you smell what’s cooking? Best burger and fries I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back and try the ribs and greens!
