We were in Dayton buying a motorcycle from a guy, and wanted somewhere to lunch after. Never been to Dayton before so I pulled up Maps and found this place. When I say delicious, I mean DELICIOUS!! My friend likened it to a transcendental experience. It is by far the BEST BBQ we have ever had, and Big Ed himself was so nice to chat with and listen to! 10/10 would recommend, I just wish I lived closer so I could eat there again!

We saw the food truck and decided to stop…because you know, shop local. OH MY STARS….the pulled pork was by far the best I’ve ever had. Not dry, not overly seasoned. The BBQ sauce was just right, it didn’t over power the meat it complimented it. And the service was great! Ed was kind and passionate about his food and personable. Will go back for sure!

Ed has a great smoker trailer with all the smoked meats you crave.
I took advantage of the two smoked sausage meal deal and was not disappointed. He dunks them in a luscious barbecue sauce just before loading in the bun.
The baked beans are ridiculous. Thick, sweet, savory. The mac and cheese had great flavor as well.
Aside from all that, the service from Ed was top-notch. Well worth the stop, and I would make the trip to this food trailer again.

Love this little food trailer bbq...Mr Ed is the nicest man..and some of the best bbq in dayton.. Big Ed is definitely A Must Check Out... I try to stop there at least twice a month. My grandson loves it too. It's a special treat for my fifteen year old grandson after school... Fyi...1 If the weather's bad snow or rain or just too cold Big Ed will not be there that day....

Big Ed's trailer I found by accident. However, had the spare ribs and had a slight smokey flavor along with a fantastic sauce makes you want to visit. Other places in Dayton do not compare. Only drawback I felt it is a bit on the pricey side.

Food was very good and just after one visit he said we were family. He knew we were first timers gave us some ribs to try and they were delicious. Will definitely be back every 2 weeks on our way by. Service was fast and he was very nice and u would think we knew each other by the way he treats his
