Had the best spicy potato soup here. Washed it down with a fun cherry chocolate stout and listened to two great bands: Trunk Monkey and Gem City Soul. What a fun night.
The food & beer were FANTASTIC!!
Family friendly
Friendly atmosphere, service was amazing.
My family I will continue to return because this is exactly what we are looking for, thank you!
Delicious beer and German food. Love the games and live music!
Great experience! The food was fantastic. The chef came out to meet us because we asked and I could not be more impressed! Thank you to the staff and especially Calebb for the wonderful time! Definitely will be back!
Drink beer made here! Second time visiting. As with our first visit, “one or two” beers turned into a couple more. Good beers and great conversation with the bartenders. Large space with a good selection of games and kid/dog friendly as well. Personal favorites were the Bocktoberfest and Negligent Entrustment. My partner liked the Fizzy Goat Seltzer. They also get extra points for being on the TagaBrew trail too!
Worth the visit from Columbus.
Great beers and food! We had a great time here.
Was there for a wedding rehearsal get together. Very nice and clean. Great selection of their beers.
Great service, great atmosphere, and great beer/food!!!
Large, loud kid and dog friendly brewery. Even not being that full, all the concrete made it much louder. They had live music while I was there, plus the football game. Somehow I didn't have appropriate clothing being in enemy territory. The beers I had were decent, the red ale and the pretzel beer went well with my pretzel.
The beer, the food, the staff. 5 stars to all.

A fun place for anything. Atmosphere and people are the best.
I don't understand the other reviews for this place. I love Bavarian food and beer, I brew lagers. I really wanted this place to be awesome because Dayton sorely lacks a good German place. Pros: Schwartz Bier was pretty solid. Barley wine was great. Cons: food was subpar, all sides barely warm. Wurst were decent but sour kraut tasted like someone dumped a ton of black pepper into it for some reason. Pretzel overly salted and over cooked. The Reuben bowl was a joke, see picture. Finally, I tried 6 beers, the other 4 I had weren't great and the maple syrup beer was cloying. If I were to come back, it would be for the Schwartz Bier only.
It’s our first time here at Bock and we absolutely had a great experience! The food was delicious and the atmosphere and service are really nice. We’ll definitely be coming back for sure!
Great place. Several good Stouts. Will definitely be back and bring some friends. Nice to see a family owned place doing good.
Excellent beer and service. Will return.
