This is not authentic Louisiana food. Red beans and rice were bland, cornbread tasted like it was from a box mix. Staff lost track of who ordered what.

We had a nice run! I was there yesterday for dinner. I have eaten there at least once every other week for more than a decade (food truck at the concerts across from the convention center before they redid it). I 've watched change of ownership recently. I think there in lies the problem. I ordered my usual and was given green beans instead of red. I point it out and instead of giving me a side of red beans he threw the whole meal away. Obviously upset, makes the next meal and gave me a thumbs up. I get home, open a light feeling container - only one little section and a few more small cubess of chiken in total! Sorry bud... I get the last laugh because I'll NEVER eat there again. I'll take my money where they understand that you NEED your customers - They don't need you.
I would have left 0 stars if I could. Been coming here for years now never again. Chicken is raw. Rice was hard. Place is disgusting since I have been in there. They messed up our orders that consisted of two sides.

I love this place. Staff is friendly, food is amazing and prices are pretty reasonable. I was introduced to Bourbon Street Cafe through the Pumpkin Show and I make it a point to stop here anytime I’m near Dayton. Amazing bourbon chicken served over or with a bunch of good side items. This place has my heart.
