I’m torn about this place. Here’s why. This is a corner of an old grocery store. There is approximately 40 seats around various tables and booths. The booth seats are vinyl that is cracked up. It’s a little dirty also and there are various things that need some maintenance. The table wobble and the ceiling tiles are dirty and stained. Now, our little waitress was very good but she was the only one serving about 25 tables. Needless to say, she couldn’t keep up. And when we were finished with our meals we had to wait 25 minutes to get our check. I asked the girl if they were short handed that day and she said, no, I’m the only server every day. We walked in at 1:00 and didn’t walk out till 2:10. So don’t stop there if you’re in a hurry. So, If you want good decent food at a good price, are willing to sit on worn out, wobbly furniture and have all day to wait for your food and then your check, stop in.

I decided to take my dad out to breakfast after seeing a YouTube review of the Bullpen diner. Our waitress, Heather, was very polite and always made sure my dad had a full cup of coffee. The food was very good and the prices are reasonable. I look forward to coming back and trying out their lunch or dinner menu.

What a sweet surprise! We’re in Dayton making a delivery and arrived a little early, so we were in search of breakfast. We were surprised to find that it’s inside the grocery store!
Portions were plentiful and the flavors were all spot on. Service is great and this feels like an American relic.
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It's a low-key place and just like a genuine old fashioned diner that you don't see much of anymore. I Had the bull burger and fries best burger I've had in ages. My dad had eggs, sausage and toast. I highly recommend checking them out. They serve breakfast all day as well.

Waited for 45 minutes at lunch time for a couple of meals. One waitress in the place. Had to ask for my cup of gravy on the side. Prices are reasonable. Must have been only one person in the kitchen. My wife wanted to walk out. Everyone including the table next to us was just sitting forever, waiting...waiting... I assumed they had been served and were just loitering but, no, they hadn't gotten their food yet either....and they were sitting playing with their phones.... forever...

If you're not friends with staff they make you wait while they serve the 3 other parties that came in behind you. Probably won't go here again and just go straight to Hasty Tasty.
