I miss the old Canal Street Tavern. Can't tell you how many bands I got to see there years ago. Some of THE best local music and I'm glad that they left a bunch of the band stickers on the wall. I don't think Mick would be rolling over in his grave at all. You're keeping the location alive.

This is where I come to eat a reuben sandwich. Best one in town and I've had a lot. Great place to bring the kids before 3pm to play some arcade games. The ones that aren't pinball are free (if they're not broken 🫤). Pinball is pay to play.

The food is really good and the nostalgic feel the old school video games and pinball give is top notch. They have a good beer selection and fair amount of seating including that includes tables outside.

However, $21 for an 8 inch cheese steak a bag of chips and a drink is a bit much.

The chicken salad on raisin is my favorite. And as a special bonus I get to play my favorite vintage video games.

Their Ruben Sandwich is probably one of the best I've had. Service was great, everything was quick and easy. Great location to hangout with friends to grab a drink and a bite to eat.

The reuben and build your own breakfast sandwich are my favorites here. The staff is friendly and the retro games are fun to play. This is a great place for a date or hanging out with friends. If you're in the area, check this place out.

Spend your money elsewhere, as they don't want it. Last night (Sunday, August 31), a group of maybe 15 GBV fans walked in and were treated with absolute hostility by both staff members from the moment we walked in. It was the last night of Heedfest, the four day gathering of fans from all over the country (we had three Brits, too!) We were joyous. We had more than enough love to spread around. We walked in when there was still daylight, so it wasn't late, plus it was a three day weekend. Both employees were outright angry they had to serve customers and do any work. They unplugged the jukebox on us (I doubt anyone got their money back they had already put in.) We weren't rude. We would have tipped well. Aside from singing Game of Pricks, we weren't too obnoxious. Several of us ordered a sandwich. The woman threw a fit when it came time to pay our tabs. She told me to "calm down" when I asked for a check. The guy screamed "Guided By Voices sucks" as we left. No dude, you suck. Your attitude sucks. Your coworker sucks. So go to Tony and Pete's for a sandwich, and Blind Bob's, Yellow Cab, and the Barrel House for beers. They all have amazing staff.

A piece of coal in the Gem City. I don’t care how good the sandwiches are (they are mid). Wow, great, they have a craft beer selection and some games. Rudest staff of almost any bar downtown. It’s like they make a point of being nasty.

I live a few blocks away, and came in yesterday with a small group of friends who were obviously not local (wearing similar t-shirts for a yearly festival dedicated to a local band). The collective sneer as we approached, and soon after, the rancor and targeted profanity as we were demanded to leave (for no apparent reason; sober and quiet; early in the evening) without explanation, show the true colors of management, staff, and ownership. I’ve recommended them before. The large gathering of potential customers who visit every year around this time? Gone, and see ya sideburns. Great job representing the welcoming culture of Dayton.

The sandwiches are consistently mid. Staffers are very consistently nasty and/or inattentive. One’s experience as a customer, real or potential. is not important to them, as evidenced by their treatment of some non-local friends this week. Decent games, decent beer, but a few blocks away you can get worse beer and better games without being made to feel like sewer rot. Unremarkable on its best day, awful on a typical one unless you’ve been deigned acceptable.
