I had never been in, just heard about the burgers. I go in and ask for the portobello mushroom burger and hand cut fries. She asks me, the portobello slices, thinking she meant in burger I said yes. I take the food home, come inside and start to take out food and realize this is not a burger. I take the food back and to my surprise and absolute delight, she understood that it was a simple miscommunication and promptly fixed my order. It’s hard to find that kind of service these...
So…..let’s do the good first…..the food was absolutely delicious!! I got a burger fries and chips and it was by far the best burger I have had in Dayton! The waitress was excellent and made small talk …it was nice…now for the bad- we went for lunch and there was a little girl running around and being obnoxious was too much to handle..if the parents want to drink at 11 -12 o’clock then get a babysitter and don’t have the waitress entertain your kid!! It was awful…and...
So there’s a group on Facebook called the Dayton foodies group… I see Carmichael’s pub referenced all the time for one of the best burgers and wings In Dayton. I finally got the opportunity to try it today.
Let me start off by saying nothing was bad. My wife ordered the cowboy burger with hand, cut fries. I had 10 of the hot garlic wings.
