I’ve been a loyal Cassano’s customer for years and have always had a good experience until now. I placed a $65 order that included a pizza, two subs, and a side of BBQ sausage. As usual, I tipped well and expected the same quality service I’ve always received.

The issue came the next day when I went to reheat the other half of my Italian sub. I had stored it properly in the box it came in and placed it in the fridge. It was never removed from that box. When I got home from work (I work third shift), I took it out for lunch. I removed the veggies and put them on a white plate so I could heat up the meat, cheese, and bread on a separate plate. After heating, I went to put the veggies back on the sandwich and noticed fine black hairs on the white plate. That’s obviously unacceptable.

I called their customer service line and was told I had to bring the sub, which was already in the trash, to the store in order to get a replacement. That’s not only unreasonable but pretty poor customer service, especially from a company that should value loyal customers.

Eventually, I spoke with a manager who was kind and patient, and she did issue me a credit. However, she mentioned that this “bring the food in” policy has been in place as long as she’s worked there since 2008. That’s odd because I’ve had order issues in the past and was never asked to do that. It felt inconsistent and made me feel like I wasn’t being believed even after I offered to show them a photo.

On top of all that, their prices are steep. Over $21 for a three-topping thin crust pizza with skimpy toppings and cheese. When you're paying that much, you expect your food to be clean and the customer service to reflect that. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t meet either standard.

A staple Midwestern tavern-stlke pizza joint that has many locations throughout Dayton. Cassano's bite-sized pizza slices are perfect for any party occasion. My husband is from the area, and we always makes sure we get a pizza on our way out of town for the trip home. We love it.

Twice we ordered the Smithville location and got very ill. Woke up in middle of the night projectile vomiting. First time wasn't sure but after a second time we stopped ordering here and switched to airway. Guy at counter was overly nice like he knew something I didn't. Disgusting behavior tampering with people's food

Excellent service for getting a pizza out and fast. The crust is a bit salty as normal but the wife likes it the way it is. Will be going back when the wife wants another pizza from there.

Absolute worst pizza in the city of Dayton. I only order from here once or twice a year because they can never get the order right. ordered two pizzas tonight. Arrived at the time the pizzas were to be ready. According to the shift manager onr of thr pizzas was "misplaced", and I had to wait another 20 minutes for a new one to be made. The other pizza was ordered light baked, it was not, never is. I told the shirt manager who said she was sorry and blamed it on high turn over of staff. Do yourself a favor, go to Marion's. they ALWAYS get it right.

Big cheese and peperoni was a big disappointment. Cooked too long, burnt cheese, and tough. Garlic cheese strips? Nope. Just an over salted, over seasoned and over cooked pile of cardboard. Never had this issue in person at the main store, but delivery brought garbage. Overpriced and not worth the trouble to call. Won't be returning.

I called to order a small pizza and they had went up to $9.75 which is absolutely to high. It used to be $6 something last time I ordered before the democrats took over and ruined our lives. I then ordered a personal pizza and the thing was $5.75 and SUPER THIN and TINY! Their prices are so jacked up. NOT WORTH IT!!! The workers however were very polite. I should have listened to friends who told me Casino’s isn’t work the money.
