I love it best pizza around
The gal, didn't get her name, smiled and was so pleasant after dealing with a 'disgruntled ' customer. The kind of person I like to come to the counter to. Pizza? Excellent! Kudos to the cook! No

I have been here for 40 minutes waiting on a pizza that was supposed to be done in 15 minutes. You will not have my visit again Smithville
There was a hair in the pizza, the calzone was very small, burnt and unedible. Called for a replacement and took an hour and a half to receive because they refused to refund the fifty dollar order!!! Never will go back to the location on Smithville in Dayton, OH.

I’ve been a loyal Cassano’s customer for years and have always had a good experience until now. I placed a $65 order that included a pizza, two subs, and a side of BBQ sausage. As usual, I tipped well and expected the same quality service I’ve always received.
The issue came the next day when I went to reheat the other half of my Italian sub. I had stored it properly in the box it came in and placed it in the fridge. It was never removed from that box. When I got home from work (I work third shift), I took it out for lunch. I removed the veggies and put them on a white plate so I could heat up the meat, cheese, and bread on a separate plate. After heating, I went to put the veggies back on the sandwich and noticed fine black hairs on the white plate. That’s obviously unacceptable.
I called their customer service line and was told I had to bring the sub, which was already in the trash, to the store in order to get a replacement. That’s not only unreasonable but pretty poor customer service, especially from a company that should value loyal customers.
Eventually, I spoke with a manager who was kind and patient, and she did issue me a credit. However, she mentioned that this “bring the food in” policy has been in place as long as she’s worked there since 2008. That’s odd because I’ve had order issues in the past and was never asked to do that. It felt inconsistent and made me feel like I wasn’t being believed even after I offered to show them a photo.
On top of all that, their prices are steep. Over $21 for a three-topping thin crust pizza with skimpy toppings and cheese. When you're paying that much, you expect your food to be clean and the customer service to reflect that. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t meet either standard.
Great pizza
Love this place
I got the 10 inch Italian sub and it was delicious
A staple Midwestern tavern-stlke pizza joint that has many locations throughout Dayton. Cassano's bite-sized pizza slices are perfect for any party occasion. My husband is from the area, and we always makes sure we get a pizza on our way out of town for the trip home. We love it.

Classic
Twice we ordered the Smithville location and got very ill. Woke up in middle of the night projectile vomiting. First time wasn't sure but after a second time we stopped ordering here and switched to airway. Guy at counter was overly nice like he knew something I didn't. Disgusting behavior tampering with people's food
Ordered delivery on their website. Quick, friendly, easy, delicious.
Amazing food and great staff
