I ordered on my lunch break and immediately was treated with such a nice, welcome feeling. The smell that came through the window made me impatient lol. It was the best sandwich I have ever ate before. My husband is deployed and I told him when he comes home we will be driving the hour for him to try this place! I got the Medusa sandwich, I had never had greens before but I can’t imagine anyone makes them taste better than this place. LOVE that it’s a small business. Very friendly and definitely on top of my list of favorite places. I told everyone at work about it! And fast food usually makes my tummy hurt, but I can confidently say that this felt like a home cooked meal in my belly. Thank you so much for your amazing food and service! I cannot wait to come back, the pepper cheese cube things are gonna HATE to see me coming!

Absolutely delicious!! We tried this for the first time last night and was extremely happy we gave it a try. We drove from Miamisburg to Kettering to try them out. Our top 3 picks were the fried green tomatoes (tasted just like my grandma used to make), the chicken tenders were extremely juicy and flavorful, and the Medusa chicken sandwich was sooo good (tasted like it had smoked Gouda cheese in the Mac and cheese). We will be on the lookout for when you get to your next place. Also, the service was top notch! I forget the owners name but he was extremely nice, as well as, another lady we talked to as well. The food being great, on top of great people, is recipe for success and they have it perfected! Thank you we all loved it! ☺️

My second time eating Chicken Head's and I grabbed the tenders and beignets. The beignets were lightly sweet and airy. The cinnamon butter and syrup together make for a fun combination and add to an already sweet treat. Neither are overly sugary and add a bit of layering to the flavor of the beignets. The tenders are well seasoned, juicy, and pair well with whatever choice of sauce. I had (and loved) the Gem City Hot sauce. It had a well tempered level of spice and a flavor that rested nicely on the tongue, not blistering heat but you will feel it. Reminded me of good times and great chicken I had in Nashville! Quality food and service, you won't be disappointed!
FYI: when you order every order is made fresh and the time it takes can vary. Plan your order ahead of time considering peak times, etc. and when the text comes in it will be ready. It is worth it!

My wife and I were eager to try this place out, and the chicken did not disappoint! It was amazing—so juicy and packed with flavor. Compared to other chicken tender spots around town, I’d say Chicken Head has the best flavor by far.
The chicken deserves a 5-star rating, but the fries and other sides we got brought the rating down just a bit. They were good, but not amazing. My wife and I agreed that the chefs clearly put WAY more care into the chicken than anything else—which I’m totally fine with. Honestly, if you just get the chicken tenders, it’s a full meal on its own.
That said, there might be better sides on the menu. We really only tried the fries and some nacho dish.

It’s rare to find a restaurant whose food is consistent and like home cooking clearly made with love. If you want great Southern food you can always count on Chicken Head’s is your place.

The Medusa was absolutely amazing! It's a meal in itself and the flavors definitely did what they were supposed to do together. The chicken and beignets didn't disappoint a picky teenager either. We will be returning ASAP
My son Troy found this place and we've ordered a couple times now since finding Chicken Heads. The owner, Anthony is super nice, and the chicken and secret sauce are awesome. I love fried green tomatoes, and I keep going back just for those. This place is a keeper... Little difficult to find because it sits back off the road and it's carry out, only... But find this place... You'll be happy you did.
