We had not been to this place before and we were traveling on the road so we needed fairly quick service. From start to finish we were very happy with the food. They make their own focaccia and bring a house Blended herb butter. As an appetizer we ordered an olive mix which came warm and in a delectable oil with spice. That helped us finish up the rest of the focaccia. Our entree was one we split and it was plenty for two. It was a pasta dish al dente with clams and nicely ground Italian sausage in a butter sauce. Could not have asked for a better service.

Coco's Bistro is always an incredible experience. Between the excellent food and drink selection and quality, the attentive and polite staff, and the comfortable yet elegant ambience, this restaurant is a go-to option for special occasion meals in Dayton!

This restaurant had good reviews so we were excited to try it. Overall we were disappointed Ambiance wasn't the warmest and coziest- the concrete floor made it seem sterile and was odd based on it being what I would consider a fine dining type place. Our waiter completely forgot our side salads that we ordered... entrees were brought and then as were finishing up the meal, he came over and apologized about the salads and said he'd be happy to take the salads off our bill (duh!). The food was okay- nothing spectacular or memorable. Dessert selections were limited so we opted to go to an ice cream store on Brown St instead. The water glasses on the table are the size of a dixie cup. Doubtful we'll come back...

A lovely dining experience, a true gem! My dining companion and I were offered our choice of indoor or patio seating (it was a lovely evening, we chose the patio) and our server, Rosette (Rosie) appeared immediately. We were looked after with great attention and our total satisfaction. I had two different wines - both excellent. The starter menu is varied and our choice (Fired Brie) was excellent. We chose two different entrees - MDC had the "surf", I had the "turf" -- both expertly prepared and precisely what we expected, superbly plated. Cannot praise the kitchen staff and our server enough! We both would recommend Coco's to anyone who loves good food, a white-tablecloth experience without excessive formality, and a meal that you'll talk about with friends & family for weeks.

Food was good for what we got, I was a bit disappointed that their online menu didn't match their actual menu. I ended up getting the bourbon something salad, and it was $20. The salad was really good! I just wish it came with more than 4 pieces of shrimp for the price. Service was fine, nothing outstanding or bad. It wasn't very busy so it was pretty quiet. I would probably go back. Also their water cups are weirdly short? just thought I'd throw that out there haha

Possibly the best Caesar salad in Dayton. Huge shrimp in the linguini and the entree Beet Salad with salmon is definitely an entree! Spicy corn soup amazing!! S'more Sunday -can't go wrong paired with an expresso!

We had a great waiter. I told him I had a wheat allergy, and he brought me an assorted plate of things I could eat with our appetizer on the house. Relaxing atmosphere, great food.

Place outside on a ninety plus day - flies and bees on the patio. apps were good, beet salad was soft and tasteless, steak ok. Servers seemed distracted - not the usual experience.

Our waiter (guy that looks like Bob Ross or counting crows drummer) was absolutely phenomenal. Food was excellent. Layout of tables and minimalist decor was a bit odd but still Excellent!

We are honestly confused. Based on the four meals we had there is absolutely no way this restaurant should even be in business. Walking in the restaurant looked like it had been thrown together, as a pop-up, the night before. The server was subpar at best. He was very off-putting, in my opinion. The fact that I smelled a heavy odor of whiskey on his breath when he addressed us. His recommendations for dinner were as awful as the meals themselves. Where did all of these 5 start reviews come from??? Our “local” chicken (as our server pout it) was burnt to a crisp and dry as saw dust. We waited so long to eat there was no way we were sending them back. The same went for the Salmon, while it wasn’t burned, it was super dry and again it took forever to get that meal. The combination of chicken and grits was strange to us and had no flavor. Overall, we were not impressed and will never return.

Very nice little restaurant. The food was the best part. Atmosphere and Service weren’t as great as the food, but were fine in general. It was very loud, both because of the music playing and because of the other patrons even though it wasn’t very busy. Acoustics were not great.

The fried Brie was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. It was so incredibly delicious. I got a “bend and snap” cocktail and it was really strong and good! The bread was nice. I enjoyed my chicken ceaser salad and my husband LOVED his steak. I’d go back here, but maybe for more of a special occasion as it was a bit pricey for a regular evening dinner out.
