This charming and cozy shop offers a beautifully presented high tea experience with generous portions. A fun touch was picking our own teapots from several on display—I loved my chai, and my friend enjoyed a fruit blend, though the selection was somewhat limited.

Service was a bit slow, and as a first-timer, I would’ve appreciated more guidance. However, the delicious menu, cozy ambiance, and great company made up for it—and the scones are absolutely to die for!

Parking was tricky, possibly due to the snow, but I’d still highly recommend CommuniTea for a delightful high tea outing!

Had a small bridal shower here. I was very happy with the price. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was so much fun! The tea shop is filled with tons of tiny details that make it a great place to spend some time. We all had a great time! And I can't say enough about the actual tea, a wide variety of options and every one we tried was yummy.

Went for a Bridal shower and was not impressed. It dirty and the help needed cleaned also. The bathroom was disgusting. I was afraid to touch anything. The food and the tea was good. I'm surprised they pass any inspections on health codes

My first time visiting came with my ladies from my church for a Mother's Day luncheon, and the high tea and luncheon were very good. I had a wonderful time and will come back again.

I would not recommend this venue to ANYONE. I was mortified at the experience, and we ended up leaving early because it was so terrible. I reached out to the owner to request a partial refund, which she agreed to, then ceased communication. This was nowhere in the realm of “high tea” - the entire thing was embarrassingly bad. I was mortified to have brought my family to that. Nothing was prepared when we arrived. The waitress seemed surprised to see us and was preoccupied with another pickup order. She was very clearly new, and the owner wasn’t seen except for when I went to the back to finally ask for drinks. The waitress left the door wide open while it was cold outside with 2 toddlers for about 5 minutes. I finally shut it myself. There was no music, and when I asked if she could put something on, she looked at me like I was crazy and then turned on country music or something similarly non-tea room-esque. I just told her we’d put on our own music and we played tea room music on our phones. She told us to select any tea pot and then later told us we picked ones we couldn’t use. We were there for about 30 minutes without anything to drink - I finally came back to ask for water or tea after we were served two small plates with potato chips (for a table of EIGHT). We had to ask for enough cups, as the table wasn’t fully set. I had to serve everyone water and tea myself. The food items on the buffet were shockingly bad. Genuinely, shocking. We were served bread with icing and sprinkles, pb&js, pudding cups, fruit thrown in a bowl, store bought cupcakes, and a few finger sandwiches on plain bread. The chicken salad sandwiches were decent but there was almost no salad on them at all. We left because I was humiliated at the experience and we were all hungry and wanted to be able to enjoy celebrating my daughter and sister’s birthdays. The owner claimed we snuck out; however, we didn’t sneak out - no one was paying attention to us or checking on us at all. We were quite loud as we left. Overall terrible experience. If I ever want a tea party in the future, I will do it myself - it would be 500x better than this.

I visited Communitea several years ago and it was very nice. This past weekend when I took my granddaughter for a special “high tea” I was beyond disappointed. We walked into a very musty smelling room with no customers and all the tables uncleared or cleaned. A man came out in a tshirt and greeted us. We sat down and got to choose a tea pot to have our tea served in. Mine was small. I guess that was a mistake because no refills. Our server did bring us food that was fair…..one thing he said was there were deviled eggs on it. Well, I know what a deviled egg is and it is not a boiled egg cut in half. The server never once checked on us. I used the bathroom and the sink was full of black colored mold. I don’t know what’s going on but it was sort of bizarre. Oh and they never even cleared or cleaned the other tables the entire time we were there. Just dirty dishes and food sitting around us.

Cute place! Took my daughter here for her birthday so we could have a real tea party. She loved it & we had a really nice time. It was fun trying on colorful hats & getting to pick out our own tea pots.

The atmosphere is charming. Guests are able to choose their own tea pots; there are even hats and accessories for guests to wear to enhance their experience

Vegetarian options: The selection was excellent

Parking: Finding parking is the only downside. Parking is onstreet only, although the church across the street does allow customers to use their lot when there are no events at the church

All of the food was store bought and nothing like the pictures. Very expensive for what you get. Very disappointing

Their pictures do not match how the food is presented. They have a picture of a scone that is on a plate with the doppler of cream and with jam that I have always had scones at other tea rooms. This tea room put them out with the other food with no doppler of cream or jam available. The food was mediocre and all the tea pots had luke warm tea, not one was hot. We had to wait 40 minutes before our food was served. The table was not set. We had to ask for tea cups to put our tea in! One lady used a toothpick y o stir sweetner in her tea. I asked for spoons and the waitress brought out a bunch and threw them down together. She finally offered napkins and we had to pass them around. The owner and waitress were dressed in jeans with a flannel shirt or a t-shirt. The decor was quaint and they had a room for everyone to pick out a hat to wear. That was creative and fun, yet with poor service and mediocre food I give this a 2 star. I think the better reviews were before the present owner took over.
