What an amazing experience we had at this historical bed and breakfast! Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. Leslie made us feel very welcome and treated us like family. Super location close to lots of restaurants. It was nice to have continental breakfast items available all day in case you wanted a snack. The beds were comfortable and cozy and the rooms were large. Highly recommend!
We feel so fortunate that we stayed here on our first visit to Dayton, because it was such a friendly, warm introduction to the area. The accommodations were perfect for us. For a very reasonable price, we had the Oporto suite, which included a kitchen. And the location was perfect, right in the Oregon District just steps away from some wonderful restaurants and bookstores. Like other reviewers noted, it was great having a parking space with our name on it! And the common areas...
if you are not interested in that "big box" chain-hotel experience but like to experience highly personal charme, this is your hotel. We were surprised, it was almost like a small Bed&Breakfast. First: after calling and inquiring about parking, we arrived to see a sign with our name on it, reserving a spot. how neat! Reception was very lovely, the lobby doubles as a wine-shop and we ended up buying a lovely French white to remove the dust of the road, so to speak....
