The people working behind the counter were very, very nice, and the only reason I didn't rank place with two stars. The catfish was the other saving grace. The problems: the place was disorganized, and didn't seem very clean. I guess if you want to go to a no-frills fish joint, this is it
If you're anywhere near this place on Main Street, and your still buying fast food...let me stop you there. This (fresh) Deep Sea Ice Cod sando costs 6.99, plus 50 cents for an extra scratch-made Tatar sauce. You can thank me later. 👊
My 1st time, but it won't be my last. I started working in Vandalia and we live near Germantown so I needed a new fish place. I called and asked for the cost and thought it was expensive. I explained that I had never been there. The guy explained that if you've never been here, you need to come in probably. I went and saw that the cook your fish and the pricing was by the lb. It turned out that I probably ended up paying less for more fish.
