My wife had been to Debbie's before, but it was my first time. We arrived for breakfast at 10:00. There were plenty of cars in the parking lot, which was a good sign. When we walked in, there were some seats available at the bar. We were served and greeted promptly. Prices were reasonable. Breakfast is served all day, but lunch/dinner options abound. There was a hometown atmosphere. We spoke with the owner, Mike, who is Debbie's son; he shared that she had passed away about 18 months ago.
Everyone here takes pride in what they do, and they do it with kindness. My wife ordered Debbie's omelet (which comes with toast) and coffee; I ordered two eggs, bacon, home fries, and biscuits & gravy with coffee.The coffee was excellent, and when the food arrived about 8-10 minutes later it was all fresh, plentiful, and delicious. By the way, syrup is kept warm if that's your thing.
As you eat, quiet music plays plays, polite conversation surrounds you. A TV behind the counter displays ads for local businesses. Regulars are greeted by name as they show up. Even if you're new to the establishment like me, you're treated warmly. The decor is more functional than aesthetic, but the people you spend your time with more than make up for it. I felt like I belonged, and that says a lot.
Debbie's will now be one of my regular places to eat.

Small quaint little place with exceptional service and selection. We have frequented this establishment many,many times and have never disappointed!! Hands down some of the best chicken and dumplings and some unbelievable liver and onions!! All day breakfast is always recommended as well!!!
