My wife and I ate here for Valentine's Day our experience was unfortunately one of the most disappointing we have had.

Upon arrival we checked in for our reservation and were told we would be called when our table was ready. That was perfectly reasonable given the occasion. The difficulty arose in the calling process. The hostess appeared to have trouble projecting her voice over the noise of the dining room, and after several attempts she began walking around asking guests their names individually. This created confusion and made it unclear whether we had been called or overlooked.

Once seated, we received water promptly but then waited a considerable amount of time before our server returned. Our meal order was taken, but I had to specifically request that she take our drink order before she left the table. After our sodas were delivered, we did not see our server again for quite some time. Our drinks remained empty while we waited for our food, and my wife had to flag down another staff member just to ask where the restrooms were.

Regarding the food, we both ordered the filet with risotto. The risotto was excellent and was the highlight of the meal. The steaks themselves were acceptable but not particularly memorable. One detail that stood out was that although we ordered identical entrées, they were served on different plates and with noticeably different portion sizes of risotto, which was unexpected.
When our server eventually returned, it was with the check. We had planned to order dessert, but at that point we chose to conclude the evening and leave.

I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it is helpful. We understand how challenging a holiday service can be, and we appreciate the effort that goes into it. With some attention to host communication, table service follow-through, and consistency in plating, I believe the overall experience could be greatly improved.
Thank you for your time, and I hope this is received in the constructive spirit in which it is intended.

A relaxing location within the hotel itself. The staff was very kind and quick with service. The food tastes very good (at least the lunch menu) (its the only one I've tried) but not the best especially at this price but the convenience of location makes up for the price

As one of the few places open on Christmas Day, we chose to eat at Dewberry. The food was amazing, the menu was limited, but we all found something that we wanted to eat. The servers, manager,, and bartenders were excellent. My husband had suggested waffle House on Christmas Day, but it just did not seem the right thing to do. We made the right choice in going to Dewberry. Kudos to the manager and staff of this restaurant.

My family and I ate here for Thanksgiving, and truly enjoyed the buffet. This latest experience on Christmas Day was very different and disappointing. There was no special "Christmas" dinner, just a regular business lunch, which was not festive. The waitresses were slow to take our orders, get our drinks, and settle our bill. I do not think most even spoke English. We were handed two bills: one for drinks and one for food. We had to get clarification on those two separate papers. The food we ordered did taste good, but is was not anything special. I give the Manager a lot of credit--he tried to make things right, but he was dealing with too many issues. Holiday music finally got turned on just as we were getting ready to leave. I will take some of the blame--I should have checked deeper into what this restaurants's offerings truly were on a holiday. The whole experience felt sad.

Walked in after researching a good breakfast buffet to eat at since we are from out of town. Website says that buffet is $17. Walk in to a sign that says $35. Because it's a Christmas buffet? Now. I've read the reviews that the food is really not all that fantastic. But you've doubled the price without putting it anywhere on social media? Not good customer service. Out of towners left with a bad taste.

The food was okay, but the service was amazing. Sara was a great server and made the experience much better. It’s a quiet, uncrowded spot if you’re looking for a peaceful meal.

Food was terrific, But over priced for a buffet. Need to have a better verity of bread. Server could not understand our beverage order and with a buffet they should have dedicated staff to assist the elderly and handicap.

I had a very short visit, but the staff was exceptional. The building was beautiful, clean, and the decor was inviting. Deasha, the bartender, provided outstanding service and entertained my group of co-workers with fascinating city facts.

What a well kept secret. Dined here before going to the Schuster. Had a Manhattan from the bar that was perfectly made. Our server Susie, was very helpful and made the entire experience very enjoyable. The food was delicious and my dining partner praised the chef for the braised ribs risotto. Looking forward to a return trip.

Food was excellent. It did take a while to get the food because it was family weekend and they were extremely busy.

We were very disappointed with the Sunday brunch at Dewberry 1850. The online menu is very confusing regarding what all is available. During the brunch time frame we were only able to order the buffet or the lunch menu, not the brunch menu as advertised online. Two of us ordered salads which took over 30 minutes to arrive. I ordered the wedge salad which was NOT a wedge salad. It was a lettuce cup with 4 cherry tomato halves, a teaspoon of crumbled bacon, lots of hardboiled eggs, and RANCH, not blue cheese dressing. Certainly not worth the cost. The other salad looked more substantial (roasted beet salad). The rest of our group had the buffet which was HORRIBLE. Cold scrambled eggs and greasy bacon. Hash browns were also cold. Omelets to order were really the only choice. NO fruit, no toast, no yogurt no pastries or bagels. Again, not worth the money. Service was very slow (and there were only, maybe, 10 other people in the restaurant). We will not return.

Convenient to downtown activities and events with plenty of free parking. Food was very good and service was great. Lively crowd on Friday night was fun.
