Why is the butter cream icing so salty. Is there a way you can order frosting with less salt.

Ordered a cake for a birthday party and it was excellent. I gave a 2 week notice and was ready on time with a smile. It was moist and fresh.
Lemon Creme cake mentioned in the description the gummy candy was out of stock. They put 8 dollops of icing on instead. Made it a bit sweet, but it was truly great! Would buy another cake in a heartbeat.

Overpriced cake that is 30 percent icing. Cake flavor is good and it always moist. Phone rep I dealt with chose to lie to me when I asked if they saved past orders instead of simply doing her job. Service is everything. Not a good experience on my last visit.

I purchased an 8 inch double cake for $34 on January 2 to be picked up on January 6 when I got to the store they didn’t have an 8 inch cake box so they put it in a large square box which did not make it home with the cake intact My cake was ruined. I could not serve it. This was a special 65th birthday for my husband with all of our family and they ruined it with no cake. I would not recommend buying from them ever. if you can’t put it in the right box then don’t sell the Cake.

I frequently visit the Ele at Austin Landing. I stopped in today to buy some cupcakes for my family. I have always had good service and fresh pastries. NOT today! I bake a lot myself and there is NO WAY that these were fresh. They were crumbly and the icing was hard. If they were left- over from the holidays it should be advertised and a customer should NOT have to pay full price. I was there before noon, so they did not set around all day. And there we no chocolate cupcakes to be bought. These were the worst I've had. The young lady who helped me was uncharacteristically unpleasant.Next time I'll go to Dorothy Lane after I KNOW the pastries are fresh and the service steller.

Ordered a cake for my wife's birthday. The edible image was beautiful, the message was small but clearly legible. When we had a piece the cake was as moist and delicious as always. Definitely the place to go if you need a great cake!
Also while picking up the cake I snagged some peanut butter buckeyes, done brownies, and am eclair. All of these were delicious as well.
My father buy my mother a fairly simple, custom birthday cake here and honestly the decorating was awful.
He spent $47 for a single 2 layer cake, with royal blue icing, 4 gold fluer de lis, and 2 letters and a Roman numeral (which they just turned into a lowercase i, it was specifically stated to make it the larger Roman numeral font and they were provided a reference photo for all of this).
It was a fully iced cake, with blue icing, and it looked like the color was not fully mixed, the icing is cracking everywhere, the icing on the sides of the crack are sliding off, and all the icing details have giant bubble gaps. It honestly looks to me that whoever made the icing, made it improperly (too dry) and didn't care to fix the issue before mixing colors in.
It was $47 for the cake and truthfully it doesn't look professional at all. It seems like thr quality is largely gone down hill from the times I have gone before. Also I know y'all use boxed cake mix.(Duncan Hines, right?)
This bakery is my go to for cupcakes.. The staff is friendly and always quick.

Our wedding cake came from Ele Cake Co, and it was so beautiful! It was delicious as well. I had brought them faux florals to decorate the cake with, but there was a mix up and they delivered it without florals. They saved the day at the venue and put extra real florals we had on the cake!
