Worst restaurant my and my family have ever been to. Food was absolutely horrendous almost inedible. What they lack in food the made up in service, our server was absolutely amazing and not his fault at all. The only thing we enjoyed was the free bread that somehow got just a tad warmed with every basket after starting with ice cold. The overpriced queso with 5 chips was what I can only imagine comes from a bag, was not good at all. For our entree some kind of fajitas were not even hot every single thing was just barely warm, almost containing no meat and also ridiculously overpriced. Even the kids did not enjoy their tenders and fries, kinda hard to mess that one up. We will not be back and honestly should have never went.

Their rotating monthly drinks are usually good, but service has been slow the last few times and the food quality has seemed to go down also. We will continue going back in hopes they improve because we believe this is a special place and worth going to! Service is always nice. Atmosphere is fun, especially if you sit in greenhouse area when it's nice out.

Will was a wonderful waiter and he did an amazing job with our large party, even though he had other tables to take care of. He had an amazing support staff behind him that took care of my parents 35th anniversary party so well! Thank you to the entire staff that made a great evening for all of us!

Great food, great atmosphere, great hospitality, great family... love this place. Highly recommend
My husband and I have lived in Moraine for 7 years. We have driven by El Meson hundred of thousands of times always saying we should try it. Well we finally did! Let me tell you it was AMAZING! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were dazzled by the staff. Bryce was our waiter and he was awesome! He was a little shy but very attentive. We did have one complaint and that is that the portions are quite small but the atmosphere and service make up for it! We will be back!

We enjoyed our delicious Dayton Restaurant Week dinners yesterday! The gazpacho soup and chicken/beef skewers and ribs were outstanding as was our dessert, the lemon pound cake with guava sauce. Our servers were responsive and attentive but not intrusive. We especially appreciated the calm atmosphere because the acoustical baffles controlled background noises. I wish more restaurants would look for ways to soften noises that interfere with pleasant conversations.

The feel and mood of this restaurant is really really cool! Our server was absolutely fantastic. I had a fajita bowl and honestly it was kind of bland and had way too much iceberg lettuce. (I find iceberg to be kind of a waste). I'd be happy to give this place another try. I just hope to get something with more flavor next time!

Wonderful place with phenomenal food. This was my first time eating here and it will definitely not be my last. Quesadilla and desserts were delicious. Our waitress Andrea was great. Bill and Mark greeted me like family. Its just a great place overall.

Hosted a private dinner here for a special occasion and had a group of about 35 people. We started with pitchers of margaritas, buffet style dining, and plated dessert (Tres Leche Cake). Everything was delicious, we got lots of comments from our guests about how good the food was and how friendly the wait staff were. Bill was wonderful to work with and always easy to get in touch with during the planning process. We used the projector to have a picture slideshow. We also did some personal decorations on the tables and a balloon arch, and they made it easy to get in and set up. Would highly recommend El Mason for a private dinner for special occasions.

I got the Jamaican jerk pork burrito, was pretty bland. The only significant taste was the sweet chili sauce on top. My wife got the carne asada tacos, again fairly bland, especially the steak itself. Expected more for three tacos that cost $19. The food in general was a bit overpriced.

We were really impressed with the ambiance, service, and the food. All of it. It made us feel like we were in a different country, but this restaurant is right up the street from our home. Highly recommend!
