A great little neighborhood shop! Always friendly and fast. I was looking for a certain doughnut and there were none in the display case. The owner asked what I was looking for and then went into the back and made them fresh for me. I stop by there every time my route is on that side of town!!
Great place for homemade bread and pastry. Very affordable and the owner and the employees are super sweet. If you are in Dayton, you really owe it to yourself to try Evan's. You'll be very pleased
If you grew up in Dayton, you probably know about Evans Bakery on Troy Street. It is still family owned and reminds me of how ethnic neighborhoods have a unique environment. It warms my heart to go there (as well as Charllie's Deli just down the street on Troy). The suburbs do not have such feeling.
