JULIAN was the bright light in my otherwise dim morning! I had never eaten at First Watch prior to today and between health issues and nearly getting run into on my way to the restaurant let’s say my morning was not off to a great start. But after being seated and meeting him he turned it completely around. His food suggestions and desire to see my experience was nothing short of amazing, was top notch! I’ve worked in this industry for many years, from my time working at the French Laundry, Bocuse and then now with the James Beard Foundation, never have I been so impressed then I was today. I wish him all the best and hope he goes so far!
