Always a great place to go for wings and a beer. Super atmosphere. Our server Maddie was on top of her game polite and always made sure we had everything we needed

I’ve visited Fricker's at 6834 Miller Ln in Dayton, OH, several times, and I finally decided it was time to leave a review. A couple of weeks ago, I went there with a family member, and we had a great time enjoying some delicious food. I ordered the Frickin' Chicken Sliders with cheese, and they were absolutely amazing! The sliders were perfectly cooked and dipped in what I believe was mild sauce and for dipping, a side of ranch which added a nice kick to the flavor.

My family member opted for the chicken wings and fried pickles, and he couldn’t stop raving about them. He mentioned that the chicken might have been dipped in Carolina Gold sauce, which complemented their crunchiness perfectly. It’s clear that Fricker's takes pride in their food preparations, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful.

They also have a solid selection of beverages, including IPAs, and my family member enjoyed a tall glass that he said paired nicely with the meal. I also decided to indulge in a classic Shirley Temple, and it was just the right amount of sweet and refreshing.

As for the service, it was decent enough, with our server being attentive without being intrusive. Overall, Fricker's is a fantastic spot for casual dining, and I highly recommend it if you’re in the area. Whether you’re craving sliders, wings, or just looking for a nice place to enjoy a drink, this location has something to satisfy everyone!

The interior of the building is dingy and dark, and the bathrooms are atrocious. Very dirty. The food was just ok, but the service was good.

Look, a tiny bowl of Mac N Cheese with a side of fries should be a kids menu item OR when there’s only two people at a table, one of which looks to be 3 or 4 years old, educate the customer that this very basic kids menu item is not, in fact, a kids menu item when the customer orders it. Especially when the same child was given a kids cup of chocolate milk which also wasn’t even free. So you advertise all over the restaurant that kids eat free but I spent $10 on my kid to eat. Manager notified and had the server tell us that there’s nothing he could do. We won’t be back ever again. Also, on the friclin chicken salad I had to order an extra chicken because it came out with 6 chicken chunks. 4 of which were dinky little chicken chunks.

Kid-friendliness: Misleading kid experience.

We came in ordered our drinks, talked and after an hour we never received any drinks, no water nothing. The waitress came back and said it might be awhile. But after an hour? We tried to flag her down but to no avail. So we all walked out. We Heard the food was good but the service was terrible, well we never got service so I guess that's all I can really say. I didn't put any stars on the food because we never got to order and taste anything.

Service was extremely slow. Also, the stinch of weed coming from the smoking area made us loose our appetite.

Tired and worn out with marginal food by today's standards. Definitely not keeping up with its sister competitor with a bird name. That sums it up.

Wings are okay, but there are much better to be found elsewhere. Burgers are okay, but again there are much better options nearby. Not a place for steak or ribs or pizza, so skip those items. The chili, well the same result. There are better places for that too nearby.

This local chain just needs a big refresh to be relevant once again. It's not the 1990s anymore. That said. The standards for the Dayton area are set pretty low. So maybe locally, it may survive as a place for locals.

Not sure how most sports bar make revenue, but assume it would be thru alcohol sales. Six customers sitting at the bar that I walk up to, to place an order. Took the only bartender 11 mins to take my order. Walked in and stood at a table with friends, before that, for 15 minutes and server never came by.

If a sports bar is what you are looking for and you are in their area of service then this is a good option.

This particular one is well worn and could use a deep clean but everything was good, quick and appealing.

As a frequent customer since the day the place opened I would like to say.... The experience I just had at the place I've loved going to for many years I'll never go back again. The employees was fighting very loud the ENTIRE time we was there. The manager was no better. He stood right in front of the customers and argued with one of them. Didn't even get my food just cashed out for my one beer. Worst part Is he didn't even say a word to me just walked away!!! Stay away not the place it used to be!!

Literally grew up eating here but will never be back. Has been going downhill for years now but today was the worst. Poor service for lunch that took 3.5 hours. Had to get our own drinks from the bar after waiting 30 mins only to be sassed by the waitress for doing so. Saw 4 other tables who were tired of waiting and left (without paying for their drinks). Manager apologized and offered a discount which was not actually given. They "ran out of CO2" so no soft drinks or draft beer halfway through. Could go on but I'll stop there. Food was fine when it finally arrived.

Parking: It was my first time going and it won't be the last. I grew up in Ohio I have always seen this restaurant but never went in. But when I came back home for my grandmother's 90th birthday 🎂 there was an overview turn the hotel that I was staying in I knew I had to go in!
