The whole store was operated by 10 year olds. They got my simple order wrong and forgot my krunch Koat that I paid for. The ice cream itself was pretty good but we need to have an adult operating a store like that. Pretty silly.
The service was very nice.However, it took a lot longer to get ice cream than I expected. I think we waited 20 or 25 min to be served. My wife chocolate ice cream had almost no flavor without the chocolate sauce. My very ice cream was supposed to be squirreled with two different flavors, and I couldn't tell a difference.
Goldies is a super cool idea, and fills a void that Sweet Retreat is leaving behind. They have tons of fun flavors but the use of syrups to achieve those flavors definitely leaves a strange taste in your mouth. The s'mores tastes a lot like coffee, the peanut butter kind of has a dirt-like taste to it, but in the end it all tastes artificial. I'm not sure if they need to find higher quality syrups/ngredients or what but it results in an ice cream that leaves a lot to...
