the pasta, made in house - excellent!! portions were just right and the focaccia/scarpetta - High praise for the chef's pasta and sauce. planning to make a repeat visit to try both the risotto and lumache dish.

Haven’t yet been for dinner, but we stopped in tonight thinking it was a coffee shop. We bought close to one of every single dessert. The chocolate chip cookies are to die for & so was the s’mores tart & the cherry (I forget what it was called) but it was terrific. We also picked up the tiramisu & a slice of cheesecake but we’ll have to save those for tomorrow night! The employee at the counter was super friendly & helpful. She gave us a lunch menu & invited us back - will definitely visit again to try a pasta dinner. Highly recommend!

Best fresh pasta in Ohio! I was so surprised there is such a wonderful pasta shop in Dayton! Every dish was truly delicious. The texture of the pasta was spot on and the seasoning was phenomenal. The service was really nice. I highly recommend this restaurant to you!

Maybe the best pasta I've ever had. I never understood the hype around Itallian food until we ate here. Everything is good but I go with the mushroom risotto when i'm trying to watch my weight

Absolutely fantastic experience. It was nice not having to drive all the way to Columbus for a well curated, high quality meal with an enjoyable ambiance. It’s also nice not having yet another restaurant that’s just serving up Sysco slop. Every aspect of the meal felt like real skill and careful thought was put into it to create something truly delicious. The dishes had an amazing depth of flavor and textures. It was also cool to see the chefs working together in real time making everyone’s meals and bringing it out to you. Lastly, I don’t understand everyone’s gripe about the service. Sure it’s not traditional but it’s not difficult to just get up and ask someone at the counter, or ask a quick question while they’re passing by.

Such an amazing restaurant for a city like Dayton. If you want a big city dining experience, this is the place. The menu is somewhat limited but everything is amazing. Get the s'more tart! We definitely will be dining here again.

Undeniably delicious food. It was all curated incredibly well with in-season ingredients. My party ordered several appetizers, all of which were wonderful. The short rib and polenta was some of the most well-cooked and flavorful meat I've had. Be aware that most of their pasta dishes are al-dente, which I am not particularly fond of. Many delicious dessert options that can be enjoyed with a hot cup of French press! I will absolutely come back to try new dishes throughout the seasons.
My biggest gripe with this restaurant is their approach to service. You don't really have a waitress, instead, you are seated and sentenced to QR code menu jail. My least favorite feature that restaurants have integrated as it takes away from the experience you are meant to have when sitting down to enjoy a meal. QR code menus should've been left in COVID times. If you have any questions about a dish or want to ask for any sort of modifications, you have to flag someone down or walk to the front to inquire about it. I'm not a huge fan of the decor in the back half of the restaurant where I sat as the choice to have everything be bright white is a bit blinding and headache inducing, but I'm not going to be too pedantic.
Food is great, service is meh.
