They should try to be open for later hours, especially when there are nearby performances, so people can grab a bite to eat before the show, instead of closing at 6! For the Loft Theatre show, the doors open at 6:30 for a 7:30 performance. Would be nice to get an item to eat there, or to-go to be able to eat at the tables in the Loft lobby.

I’m not one to make a lot of comments, but I think the staff can be a bit rude at times. Not to me. But to those less fortunate. When I went to this specific store I was dining in and a gentleman came and asked for the cheapest thing on the menu. The cashier said that he could get bread for about 50¢. He asked if there was anything else he could probably have and they said no. So he left. AFTER he left the staff made fun of the guy with other customers and laughed at him. I understand why this particular cashier had to tell him no. However I do not understand why they felt it necessary to make fun of the individual and laugh with customers. I’ve worked in fast food before and have had many situations similar to this, but one thing I know for sure is that it is NEVER okay to “bully” or make fun of someone ESPECIALLY with or in front of other people. And it’s in the work handbook to stay professional in these situations because even if that person is no longer around, it could still make others uncomfortable. Which it definitely did make me uncomfortable. I will not be coming back to this store for the simple fact that politeness and decency does not matter here.

2nd time in Jimmy John downtown. The service is beyond poor, the young gurl at the counter seems to be racist, yes just what I said and nooo I'm not pulling the racist card. I ordered the 1st time, she took my order, had 2 other people come after my order gave them their order before me. I asked why they received the order before me, no response or nothing just rolled her eyes...I'm like umm ok, whatever. Went back again same gurl, ordered, asked for my sandwich to be toasted..the sandwich came not toasted . I told her I said toasted she just starred at me...so I said I told you toasted , blank look so she told the other chick who seemed pissed. I got my sandwich half warmed up had to asked for a bag and napkins. The floor is nasty and the service is not good at all. I'm a person who will tip your jar if my service is good.i wouldn't give the gurl with the glasses a penny....

Ordered my food and waited an hour. Said out for delivery for over 45 minutes. I was only 2 minutes from the building. Unbelievablely rude customer service on the phone. Was hung up on. Very bad experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND JIMMY JOHNS IN DAYTON

They have great workers.They pay attention to detail and they want to make the sandwich the best that you want it.Just ask and be friendly. Clean store parking isn't the best but it is downtown. Thanks for the great service as always.And the good food.

I been there once and overall, I did like the sub. Only one issue. I have a hard time with toasted buns (toasted stuff is painful due to my dentures). Do they offer a softer bun (Non toaster)? If so, next time I will give 5 Stars. ?

This location needs to do a better job of checking delivery online orders. I requested napkins - received none. Ordered a drink and received no straw but was told by delivery guy that it SHOULD be in there. Quit being freaky fast and start being freaky correct.
