Was very excited to finally try Jollity after learning their story and future plans just a few weeks ago, especially since this would be our last opportunity. Loved the ambiance and live kitchen views... beautifully plated food, the chefs' passion for their art was obvious. All except our server were very attentive. Ordered trout & ribeye dishes - trout cooked perfectly, best crispy skin I've ever had, accompaniments under seasoned... ribeye ordered medium but came out rare, supposedly a ribeye but absolutely no marbling, chewy and dry even at rare temp :(

We get that things happen...steak issue would have been fine had our server ever checked in on us after the entrees were delivered... fortunately, another staff member realized my husband wasn't eating and checked on us then informed who we assume was a manager...manager came to table and asked if we wanted the already eaten off of steak put back on the grill (how unsanitary) to be brought back up to temp... unfortunately, since we declined, we were just left paying full price for the chef's mistake. Was looking forward to trying Koji Burger until yesterday...

The atmosphere, the food, the people, and the service are amazing! The way that the employees work together, communicate, and truly meet the needs of all customers is also top notch. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out.

One of the best ways to make a team of great employees happy is lunch from Koji Burgers. We did a carryout for our staff today, the food was hot, fresh and delicious! The on line ordering process was easy and convenient. The pick up was a breeze. On all accounts we were so pleased and our staff raved the afternoon about the delicious lunch they enjoyed! I may have only gotten Burgers today but this restaurant serves up the BEST in everything they offer.

This is a very nice place . Clean , good vibe ....I had the Koji burger and potatoes it was good but not magnificent and very expensive. We had to pay $39 for 2 Koji burgers and fries and no drink.......sorry but next time I'll have to try something else for that price. I just expected it to be more for the price. The people that can afford it by all means go and enjoy . Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the burger.

I was finally able to taste this place!! Burger was really good! The potatoes were pretty crunchy which I did not like that. It’s like every other one was soft. I’d definitely go back though

I went to Jollity for the first time with my family. The food tasted good, but the portions were way too small for the price. We ordered burgers and a few other meals - everything looked nice, but felt overpriced for how little food we got.

The food also took a bit too long to come out, which made the whole experience feel less enjoyable. For what we paid, I definitely expected something more filling.

I wasn’t super disappointed, but I also wasn’t really happy with the visit. Not sure if I’d come back, unless they improve the portion sizes or adjust the pricing.

Sat there for well over 15 minutes and no one even came to talk to us. Restaurant was decently busy and yet the chefs weren’t making any food. They were just standing there. Will never go back.
If you like wasting time then this is the place for you.

Best food/restaurant in Dayton made by chef's who live and die food. This is a foodie person's restaurant. If you want the best food with creative dish ideas made perfectly, you found the place. Open kitchen, extremely knowledgeable staff, with expert chef's. American food with a Japanese touch. Also, try Koji burger sometime, you won't regret it!

When a place makes me love a dish with beets and horseradish, you know they're doing something right. They ran out of a few things that piqued our interest (walked-in late that eve), but no worries, as everything was fantastic! We tried the beets, the potato pave, aged ribeye, octopus, cheesecake, and a few amazing cocktails. Service was friendly and top-notch! Highly recommend!

Looks like the menu changes frequently based on other reviews, but they will steer you in the right direction!

Went with my wife yesterday. Long wait time (>30 minutes) in between first plate (potato pava) and second (brussel sprouts). Restaurant gave us a free grilled vegetables in between to compensate for the wait.

Pava had nice texture but was a bit bland and needed more seasoning/sauce.

Grilled vegetables were ok. A bit salty and overly cooked for my taste.

Brussel sprouts were overly charred to the point of being burnt for our tastes, but to be fair the bottom of some of the few uncharred sprouts tasted like there was good potential.

Udon noodles were best thing with fresh thick chewy noodles, but I’d prefer a bit stronger Japanese flavor.

We ended up canceling orders for karaage and a lamb burger because we ran out of patience. Restaurant didn’t seem particularly full but after spending about an hour and a half in the restaurant we only got three plates.

Don’t order sake, it’s treated like very fancy wine. I thought I’d get a small sake bottle and instead got a small amount of sake in a wine glass. My wife’s cocktail was good.

Phenomenal all around. The service, the atmosphere, the food. The best brussels I’ve ever had, we got the noodles, fried chicken- all was off the chain. An elevated dining experience, craving it again already.
