I was born in Eastern Pennsylvania and have enjoyed more than one soft pretzel in the Philadelphia area and environs. K&R soft pretzels are the closest thing to an honest-to-goodness soft pretzel you can get in Dayton. They are hands down the best soft pretzel in Dayton. The "soft pretzel" you can get at that other Dayton purveyor of "soft pretzels" doesn't come close to the real thing. It is more like something you might pick up from a roadside...
Have always loved their pretzles! Idk how long they've been operating but they've been around as long as I can remember, which is also pretty cool. It's an older building with no glam & glitz or whatever, but filled with lovely people, delicous warm pretzles, candies, and soda pop and if that doesn't strike your fancy we just can't be friends lol.

I have been going to this place since I was a child. I LOVE soft pretzels and even though I moved away, I always return to get myself some pretzels. Grew up calling it the Pretzel Factory. These are my favorite pretzels ever. I compare any pretzel to this one.
