We have loved KD’s BBQ for so many years. The BBQ sauce WAS delicious and one of a kind. The new sauce that they claim is similar to the original recipe couldn’t taste any different. The color, consistency and flavor were nothing close to it. It actually tasted like KC Masterpiece 🤢 Unfortunately we won’t be back along with our entire family. You need to bring back the original recipe. It may be costly or not convenient if it has to be made but we think without it, it will ultimately be the end for KD’s BBQ.

This place has been so amazing for many years! Melissa waited on us tonight and made a relaxed environment and was super friendly! Hand-Breaded Mozzarella was delicious and the cheese pull was spectacular ? There are many more items that a great so check them out ?

I have lived in Kettering off and on for six years and I am SO mad at myself for not having stopped in here sooner. My sister and I decided to stop in for dinner tonight and it was the best decision we've made. This really is the best kept secret in Kettering. I had the BBQ chicken dinner with green beans, corn casserole, and a dinner roll. My sister got the whitefish dinner with cole slaw, a baked potato, and a dinner roll. It was all amazing, a entire 10/10. The restaurant was cozy and clean, not too bright or too loud. The staff were super friendly and we were never stuck in restaurant limbo, never had to even ask for refills as they were on top of it. If you ain't stopped by this place for some good food then you don't know what your missing!

We just popped in on a saturday night for a quick meal. We had a delicious chicken breast and were introduced to a cabbage roll, which was also really great. When leaving the lovely waitress gave us a free key lime pie. Which was absolutely to die for and by far the best we ever had.
Would highly recommend visiting for the heavenly food and the great atmosphere. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I had heard a lot of good reviews, and I saw a neon light in the window that read Cabbage Rolls. So I decided to try them! I have to be honest, and to be fair every now and again restaurants just have a bad batch, but the cabbage rolls were very, very bitter had a very vinegary taste, I was disappointed. The cornbread casserole was delicious and the mashed potatoes were good. The green beans tasted like they just came out of a can not much seasoning at all. The restaurant is adorable and the staff was awesome. I will go back! they have a big menu and all of the food on everyone’s play looked amazing. I am hoping my next experience is better.

I love this place! I found it while I was in town for a class in 2015. I had forgotten the name because I lived in Colorado. Little did I know that I would move to the Dayton area. So, I drove around forever trying to find it again. I’m glad I did though, because it is amazing.

I drive past this place everyday. I've always wanted to stop and eat there because the food smelled good and I support small businesses. So yesterday we decided to eat here and the first thing I noticed was how clean and tight knit everything was . The lady's behind the counter were very helpful and respectful, everyone was nice. So we waited for our food to be done and took it home to eat . Granted the prices seemed a little high, but if you want good BBQ usally it's not cheap. But the food we received was far from that. The ribs were very dry along with no flavor. All 3 steaks we go were over cooked and very tough . To the point we just dident eat them. The baked potatoes were not completely done. And the chicken was very dry. From a small businesses in kettering the customer service was great. But for the over $100 bucks we paid to eat here the food was not made with care nor was it worth the price. Just to throw most of it in the trash. Seems to be a kitchen issue.
Half bbq chicken dinner was amazing, my girlfriend loved the half slab of ribs dinner. Great food and service every time.
