I love this place! Shout out to the bartender Tim he's great and helped out my group all night. I wish there was more seating here on a rainy night because place was packed during the Dayton game, but we had a great time anyways. The options for drinks are great and my friends got lots of fun mixed drinks from the bartender when asking for a surprise. They were very tasty, and so was the food! Really enjoyed the tater tots!Parking: lots of available parking that wraps around the buildingKid-friendliness: kid friendly mom and pop establishment, but i would say more Sunday through Thursday all day and Friday and Saturday anytime but evening and nighttime because it tends to draw an older and more college aged crowd

Interesting place. You order everything at the bar and then they bring it to your table. Service was fine and the food was okay.

Kramers Tavern is your prototypical, friendly neighborhood dive bar. This gem was opened in 1933, and touts itself as "home of the 40's," offering PBR, Miller Lite, Miller High Life and Bud Light 40 oz bottles for $8. In addition, they have a wide selection of other beers, seltzers and wine, as well as a full bar. Prices are extremely reasonable with all beers and seltzers under $5. No glass pint glasses here -- everything comes with plastic cups. They have a food selection of salads, sandwiches, fried finger foods, burgers, and pizza. We've tried a variety of things, and really liked the chicken fingers, french fries and southern style burger. The french fries are shoestring and extra crunchy. We didn't like the pizza and thought the crust had a weird taste to it. Other reviews raved about the pizza, so wondering if it was just an off night? The best part though is the atmosphere and people. There are plenty of TV's, and seating inside, on a covered patio, and outdoors. They also have games including pool ($1.25 per play), golden tee, big buck deer hunter, and bullshooter electronic darts. The staff is super friendly, and this is a place I would love to be a regular at!

The quintessential place to come for a pizza and a 40 before a UD

Not a bad local hangout. Food is ok, service is their weakness. Atmosphere is ok but the acoustics are terrible.

Awful pizza experience. This used to be my husband’s favorite pizza spot but the last few times of getting it has been a major disappointment. We ordered a supreme to go and we should have known right away it wasn’t right. It was incredibly veggies & cheese heavy with barely any pepperoni or sausage. Several slices had no sausage & when we did find it, it was the tiniest pieces possible. Pepperoni was super thin too. There was so seasoning on top or on bottom (a Kramer’s staple previously). The last several pizzas we have gotten have been bland, heavy on cheap ingredients, & incredibly disappointing.Another Dayton staple dead in the water.

Kramer has not changed in the last 50 years. Still a spit that I remember since my College days at UD.

We've always loved Kramer's and still do! The pizza and beer are as good as ever. It's a great place to watch a game or just hang out with friends. I wish they had more draft beer options, but we really come to Kramer's for the bottles & cans, so it's not a deal breaker. The service is solid, maybe better than before the management change. The whole place seems to be run more efficiently and way cleaner than before. Overall I think its an improvement. They seemed to have toned down the décor and things that gave Kramer's it's unique vibe. The inside feels a little plain now. Hopefully they will punch it up with time as the come into their new identity. We will be back soon!Parking: The parking lot is a little tight, but I've never had trouble finding a spot, even during the busiest times.
