I was passing by on my way home in Dayton Ohio and stopped for the first time to check out the food at my Local cantina , I was welcomed by a very nice young lady named Lauren..she was so nice and very informed..I couldn't have enjoyed myself more..because of her great service and the great food and drinks I will be back ! Cool vibe and theming. Chip and salsa bar is decent but the burritos and street tacos are fantastic. Tables might be sticky and it can be confusing at first if you don’t know that you can seat yourself. But really a great place to stop by and try if you’re downtown and want some delicious Mexican cuisine.

Walking in, there were tables everywhere that had not been cleared of dirty dishes. No sign to let you know to wait or seat yourself. Finally another customer answered me. We sat outside because it is a rare beautiful day in Ohio for March 3. Waited. Waited. Finally went to the bar to find out that we had to order from the bar. Ok. We did. Took about 45 minutes for food to come out and one meal was completely cold. Turns out half the kitchen appliances weren't working properly. Asked a server for a refill only to be told she wasn't our server. Mind you this server had on such thin pants, you could see her thong underwear and butt cheeks. The other female server wasn't wearing pants and only a large t-shirt barely covering anything and looked like she had rolled out of bed to come in. I'm sure this place has great drinks however it was a time for us to eat before attending an event downtown. Additionally, the bathrooms were disgusting with backs off the toilets. I just didn't see the care in the service they were supposed to be providing. We will never go back.

This place is very inconsistent. Food rocks. Taco deals are good and food is hot and quick. Stickiest tables in Dayton. Put the Dixie Strip to shame. Watched people leave multiple times because they do not know that you can seat yourself and no one comes around. What happened to the host? There are at least 2 great bartenders but the servers make horrible Mustache Rides (margaritas). Revolving staff for sure. Cool patio in the summer. Location is great.TLDR: we still come here but 50% of the time we regret it. My take: sit at the bar and order tacos and street corn.Photo is the menu we were given after we sat.

This place is always so busy and still they are so friendly. My order is correct every time and they are very very kind.
We went there Saturday with friends who had been there before, but it was our first experience. The atmosphere is fun and the bartender and manager were both very nice. The cheese dip and guacamole are some of the best we've ever had. Drinks were fun (we had the Toucan and the Bramble) and extremely tasty. We're going back, absolutely!
