I went to the Sunday brunch buffet this past Sunday. It was lovely! The vibe and elegant décor was exactly to my liking. (I'm an LA girlie). The bar was beautiful. Some things on the buffet were better than others, but the fresh omlette & waffle station make it up. My husband loved the goat cheese sandwiches. I will definitely go back for dinner and drinks.

Manna Uptown delivers an exceptional and well-rounded dining experience. Walking through the doors you are greeted with a friendly staff, gorgeous decor, and unmatched atmosphere. The contrast between the bar and dining area provides the entire spectrum of thoughtful upscale dining. Our Waiter Deb had mastered the cocktail menu and each of the six cocktails we have tried so far were world class. The Salmon and Chicken and Gnudi were extraordinary. We moved here 3 weeks ago and have already been twice - this will be a favorite staple for special nights spent here in Dayton

My husband and I went to Manna with his dad and family. We started with drinks at the bar and the bartender was very accommodating and friendly. I had the sangria and it was absolutely delicious. For food we ordered the fried calamari, short rib ravioli, and charred Caesar salad. Everything was so good and beautifully plated. The ambiance inside is beautiful and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I will most definitely be coming back here again in the future.

Manna is a gem in the Dayton area.
From the moment you walk in, the place gives off an upscale vibe. The tables are neatly set, and the dishes arrive on unique plates that make the presentation feel special.
The food lived up to the atmosphere. We started with a small plate, followed by the salmon and the short rib ravioli—both excellent—and two drinks suggested by our waitress. We finished with the dessert special: creamy pistachio ice cream that was the perfect ending to our meal.
But as good as the food and decor were, the real reason for this review is the service. Janis, our waitress, stood out from the start. She knew the menu inside and out, gave thoughtful recommendations, and was polite and personable without being intrusive. She took the time to chat, but always found a natural way to bring the conversation back to the food and the restaurant. That’s the kind of skill you can’t fake—it comes from experience and care.
Without Janis, I probably wouldn’t be writing this review. Good food can be found in many places. Memorable service is rare. Long after you forget the decor or the taste of a dish, you remember how you were treated.
To anyone wondering if Manna is worth it—yes, it is. And if you can, ask for Janis. She’ll make sure your meal is remembered for all the right reasons.
And to the owner of Manna: you hired well. Keep hiring people like Janis.

food was good but way over priced. heres the deal, ill pay any amount for food, its not that its a budget issue, its what you get for that price. servers are always seen hanging out by the bar with their friends. the atmosphere is great. not too loud and the layout is beautiful.

I took my mom to the Afternoon Tea. The restaurant is very lovely, the tea took place upstairs which is nice. But it got very hot ( after an hour we were ready to go) The food was ok, most of it was hard or stale. And I understand it was most likely made the day before but I only really like the sweet treats. They had a nice selection of tea ( it was tea bags, so nice I could order that brand online). Also for 2 people the table was quite small to hold the food, water, 2 tea tops, the menu, the little flower display. Was kind of cramped eating and drinking. Over all a fun experience but I wouldn't pay to do it again.

I've been to this restaurant twice within the past week. The bartender is very knowledgable, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is higher scale than most restaurants in the area. The food is very good. I took my son--who eats a LOT. We tried the charred caesar, the burger, and the Lamb Wellington.. all were very good. I recently moved from West Chester back to Dayton.. There are more available restaurants that serve a higher caliber menus in Cincinnati, than Dayton. This restaurant is definitely a must for people who want a nicer place to dine.

We arrived at Mana around 8pm and were seated promptly—no wait at all. Our server, Janice, welcomed us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel at home. She was not only attentive but incredibly knowledgeable, walking us through the menu with genuine excitement and sharing her top recommendations.
The drinks? Exceptional. Their selection of top-shelf bourbons was impressive and set the tone for the evening. Every sip was a treat.
As for the food—absolutely phenomenal. We indulged in a variety of appetizers, followed by the Filet and the Lamb Wellington, both prepared to perfection. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and memorable.
The ambiance was just as remarkable. Between the expertly crafted cocktails, delicious dishes, and stellar service, the entire experience was flawless.
We’re already planning our next visit—Mana has definitely earned a spot on our top favorite restaurants!
