Always like marion's we get there steak sub and there big cheese pizza. The subs where a little sloppy this time but still good and the pizza was a little undone always order well done when ordering the big cheese pizza

Marion's is a Dayton classic. The decor has echoes of the 60s and 70s I. Dayton, but clean, updated, modern yummy. Definitely not a national delivery chain. You order in one line, move to another to order drinks, pick out a family style table in the dining area (yes, Virginia, some pizza places are still fine in). My fave is their traditional thin crust with the basics. Marion's is also popular with group things - offices, churches, etc. Nothing like it anywhere else.

Yesterday was Friday and wanted some different pizza and opted for Marions. This place is like a pizza time warp! The old-school vibe, the tables/booths, even the arcade games. It's got that comfy, vintage feel that makes you want to hang out
We got the thin crust deluxe, and it was awesome. Super crispy, tons of toppings, and so much flavor. Marion's really knows how to make pizza, it's a local favorite for a reason
But… we had a weird thing happen. We ordered the same pizza as another couple, but theirs came out in 10 minutes, and we waited over 30. No word, no nothing, just us wondering if our pizza got lost in space
Still, the taste and the nostalgia make it worth it. Just hoping the oven treats everyone the same next time

For my family during the Anniversary Special, we each got our pizzas & enjoyed spending time together. The workers were organized & efficient, particularly in light of the volume of guests. Thanks to the team for helping us make family memories with full bellies 😋🥰
Went in today with wife for Lunch. It was the 60th anniversary of Marions pizza. They had a 60% off on pizza all day long. This place was bombarded with people. I went in and some guy comes up to me and says do you have a number, and I said no, should I have a number and said yes, they are outside the door and some employee was giving out the numbers and giving them to people while talking to a group of Amish ladies about their trip to Marions pizza. When I went back outside about a hundred more people were behind the Amish ladies and it was nonstop and backed all the way out beyond the parking lot. They told me the phone was not being answered for orders and that the online app was disabled to handle the influx of people. I said to heck with this noise to the manager and he told me to get out of the parking lot, or he was going to trespass against me for being at Marions. I could not believe this managers attitude and snotty remarks to a Senior like me. To heck with this place, Wife and I went over to ILLYS pizza the people treated me nice and courteous. Never again for Marions, they are not the best pizza in Dayton at all. They are falling out of grace with a lot of people

I usually go to the one in Centerville Ohio however today my friend and I stopped by one in North Dayton. Everything was the same, including the beer and wonderful pizza, however everything is flip-floped 180°. The pizza is consistent in just about every Marion's I go to. This is what we used to like about Frisch's, as well. The service is just fine and the place is clean and it's just like old times going there. Plenty of parking, always. I was a little concerned about the guy at the soft drink / beer stand, however. He was not as friendly as normal He looked like his dog just died, but his service was still good? I hope everything is okay.
