The pizza here is some of the best around. We lived in the Dayton area several years ago and it was one of our go-to places whenever friends came to visit. We eat here at least once whenever we come back into town. The decor is a little dated but that is part of the charm, nothing really changes, the atmosphere the staff and most importantly the food. The construction on I-75 is a pain but it’s easy enough to get to that it doesn’t really matter.

Always like marion's we get there steak sub and there big cheese pizza. The subs where a little sloppy this time but still good and the pizza was a little undone always order well done when ordering the big cheese pizza
Marion's is a Dayton classic. The decor has echoes of the 60s and 70s I. Dayton, but clean, updated, modern yummy. Definitely not a national delivery chain. You order in one line, move to another to order drinks, pick out a family style table in the dining area (yes, Virginia, some pizza places are still fine in). My fave is their traditional thin crust with the basics. Marion's is also popular with group things - offices, churches, etc. Nothing like it anywhere else.

Yesterday was Friday and wanted some different pizza and opted for Marions. This place is like a pizza time warp! The old-school vibe, the tables/booths, even the arcade games. It's got that comfy, vintage feel that makes you want to hang out
We got the thin crust deluxe, and it was awesome. Super crispy, tons of toppings, and so much flavor. Marion's really knows how to make pizza, it's a local favorite for a reason
But… we had a weird thing happen. We ordered the same pizza as another couple, but theirs came out in 10 minutes, and we waited over 30. No word, no nothing, just us wondering if our pizza got lost in space
Still, the taste and the nostalgia make it worth it. Just hoping the oven treats everyone the same next time
