Been here a couple times and almost everything has been excellent. The bar especially makes a delicious cocktail. I can personally recommend the Pan fried walleye and the pork jezebel. The beets are great too if you’re into that. Only thing on the menu I wouldn’t get again is the carbonara. I love this dish but it’s not easy to serve at a restaurant. Texture is off putting unless it’s made to order and served immediately. Overall very nice place. Also very busy for good reason.
Great food, everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The staff was friendly and checked in on us frequently. They also had a good selection of cocktails, wine, and beer. The interior decor is nice and even when it's busy, it's not too loud to where you would need to shout, just talk a bit louder. I would advise that you make a reservation because sometimes it gets busy and you may have to wait a bit for a table. Great experience overall, and we will definitely be going back!
Best restaurant in the Dayton area. Menu is varied, creative and seasonal. Every dish was prepared well and presented attractively.
Unique tasty offerings and great service!
Don't remember who the waitress at the bar but she was amazing.
My tastebuds haven’t been this impressed in quite some time. The food was absolutely incredible.
I ordered the sablefish with remoulade and jambalaya.
The desert is all made from scratch and it is a joyfully delicious experience.
5 star food, service and atmosphere
We loved everything we tried here! Drinks: Pappy’s Remedy & Violet Sangria. Appetizer: Hummus. Entrees: Rigatoni Bolognese & Filet Mignon
I go there for the Basque cheesecake.
Good food.
Difficult to find location.
Glad found it.
The food is fresh and provides a unique twist on classic American food. Their grilled cheese, brushed with red wine and cooked onions, is absolutely decadent without being too heavy. Pairing it with their fries and you have a phenomenal lunch. I also appreciate the diverse drink options: it’s hard to find Abita Root beer in the north/midwest and Meadowlark had it, which is such a treat. Everything I’ve had here has been delicious; you can’t go wrong.

Always great.
The food was wonderful. The service was great, their place was really worth it
Great food at a fair price. Consistently good meals.
Just stopped to check out, heard many good things about this place. I had dentist appointment right after do I didn't eat. Just had couple of drinks and talked with locals. But based on the high recommendations of the locals and the staff who worked there I will definitely return and try some of their food they highly recommended the burgers. Drinks were a little pricey.
First time at Meadowlark - Excellent food & service! Everything tasted wonderful. Clean restrooms. An all around keen attention to detail.
