Lovely restaurant! We were treated graciously! The food was outstanding. We are from Texas and my husband said the steak may have been the best he has ever eaten. My nephew chose the walleye and I chose the trout - both dishes were fantastic! We chose to take key lime pie with us for later, and it was scrumptious! We were thankful that we made reservations. We were surprised that the restaurant was absolutely full on a Tuesday evening indicating that it is most popular with the local population. The staff was very kind and attentive! We highly recommend if you are in the Dayton area.

I've been eating here for 20 years and I think they are closed for the fourth but I'm not sure because their voice mail does not say the are closed for vacation, July 4th holiday.
A tad on the expensive side but worth it. Everything was delicious!!! 🤌

Host was very kind and our reservation was respected. We came for our anniversary - the host acknowledged it as we were seated and we heard her tell the server as well. Our server never once acknowledged it or made any effort to make us feel even an ounce of special for it. Our server was very slow, not especially kind, and only checked on us once for a refill. We ended up dining for an hour and a half. We had the spinach dip app and it came out fairly quick. Our server skipped taking our meal order for 2 other tables seated after us before finally checking on us (app was already gone by this point). It was another 40mins before we saw our meals. We had the risotto and crab spaghetti. If the risotto was the reason for the delay in food getting out to us, our server made no effort to let us know that or even check on us in the 40mins we sat waiting. Food was good, but nothing we consider amazing or special. I added chicken to my risotto and it was a bland, tiny afterthought tossed on the side of the bowl. Portions were small and quality was lacking for the price, sadly. Overall vibe and decor is open and fun. Honestly a disappointing anniversary dinner experience. Why even ask if we are celebrating anything special if youre not even going to make an effort to make it feel a tiny bit special? Would we give the place another try? Yes. But never again for our anniversary.
