I'm so happy I found this place
It was right around the corner from me yet i never heard of it. I had some of the spiced tea and it was so yummy, also theres a scrambled egg and naan dish that I loved. Definitely coming back

We stopped by for a dinner along our way to Tennessee, and this place is a real drop of natural inspiring simplicity among the artificial culture of America! Was our first time tasing Ethiopian food and the food was amazing! surprisingly delicious. Their vegan platter is a taste bomb, we loved everything, specially lentils and beets, and salad. Well, everything! On the way back we will stop for their authentic coffee with the intense, was late for that. Thanks to chef and our waiter!

This place is incredible. Like, how is it not busy 24/7? Some of the best food I've ever had. Definitely going to try and make it a regular thing, if you haven't tried it you're missing out. If it's your first time I recommend just getting the platter as it will let you sample a few things, all of them incredibly delicious.

What a fantastic place! Dayton is so fortunate to have a restaurant that serves authentic and delicious Ethiopian fare. The prices are excellent for the generous amount of food you get, and I appreciate all of the vegan options. It has been a long time since I've been surprised by a restaurant experience. Good food, good value, good service—this is definitely my new favorite.

Nanyea cafe is my favorite restaurant in Dayton. It's a whole vibe and experience. The food is so healing and so very satisfying. If I drove Sophie would see me at least once a week.

Nanyea restaurant is a great place to visit!
I traveled here to meet the owner for a financial meeting and how we can do more for people we serve !
Atmosphere is awesome - full of culture - food is unique- and people are great- specifically the service!! I had hard time pronouncing names of the person who gave us great service but she was very nice and helpful!
I can’t wait to take a big team up there to eat and drink Ethiopian’s coffee !
Sofi, the owner is very friendly and has great customer relations experience!

My kids ordered chicken & rice &soup and injira (might mispelled) but they loved the food ! And I enjoyed coffee while having a meeting with the owner!

I dislike writing bad reviews for small businesses but the food was not good and the lady didn't give us any service at all and expected a tip... I still tipped a little but my goodness at least smile
