Old Scratch always delivers great taste. Highly recommend the Dayton. Staff is always friendly and helpful. On my most recent trip, I ordered ahead for pickup and showed up a bit early to have a drink at the bar, which always has a good selection of local beers on tap. The bar server offered to bring us our pizza as we finished our beers. Overall great experience.

The music is WAY too loud. Looking around at the customers, my guess is that the music is for the workers (not the customers).

This is probably the place with the best vegan Neapolitan pizza in the US, or at least top 1%. The crust is phenomenal, the vegan cheese they use has good flavor, and the basil on the margherita pizza is just the right amount. The cauliflower and hummus are also vegan and are just as good as the pizza! The staff are good and reasonably knowledgeable about vegan/vegetarian food.

Low key place with quality gourmet pizza, bar with good beer and cocktails, nice atmosphere, inside and outside seating, plenty of parking. Would come back here for sure. Recommended.

I had to ask for the fresh basil because they baked it originally (which is no good) and even though I asked for no chilis, they snuck them on so I had to pick them off. Otherwise the pizza was great. Good crust, good ingredients.

Old Scratch has easily become one of my favorite spots in Dayton, and honestly, it’s my perfect go-to place on a Sunday. The atmosphere is casual yet modern, making it a great place to unwind whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, meeting friends, or even going on a date. It strikes that rare balance of being lively without ever feeling overwhelming, which makes it just as comfortable to stop in solo as it is to go with a group.

The food is absolutely amazing every single time. My personal favorite is their pepperoni pizza with hot honey—it’s the perfect combination of savory, spicy, and sweet that keeps me coming back. Pair that with their refreshing berry lemonade, and it’s basically my idea of the perfect meal. The quality is always consistent, and I love that every location I’ve been to maintains the same great standard.

What also stands out about Old Scratch is the staff. They always bring a positive attitude, are quick to help, and really make the whole experience better. I’ve never had a complaint, which says a lot. Overall, Old Scratch is easily one of the best spots around for good food, good vibes, and good company

Love that the atmosphere here is unmatched! Such a fun family spot that even a young adult, like myself, can bring friends and have a good time dining in. The food is delicious and they are really good at accommodating patients with allergies (nuts, gluten, +). The staff are very comical but great to talk to and efficient workers. Even when carrying out, the flavor remains delicious and unweathered by the transportation. Overall, you cannot go wrong giving them a visit for your next meal!

Pizza was SO good! Meatballs and salad were also delicious. Great place for large parties and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Several TV’s for watching sports ball. Would definitely recommend!

Haven’t been to this place for a few years, just haven’t had the time to get to be around town much. But it was absolutely incredible!

The workers and service was wonderful, they even made us a table inside when it started to rain. Many options for pizzas and custom options, beer soda and water as well. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Would recommend to anyone who needs a food pizza fix and change, I will be coming back again, thank you!

Such incredible pizza and really awesome gluten free and vegan options. Menu is well-labeled and the staff is knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about the cailiflower appetizer and the White Pie. Fun atmosphere, great outdoor seating. Great for kids:)

Do not skip this place. Pizza is rich in flavor and the crust and undercarriage has perfect amount of char that ties it all together. 10/10 will visit again.
