Fantastic brisket and pulled pork! We've lived in Texas for years and still have family there and their meats and preparation rivals anything we've had in Texas. The staff was super friendly and provided us with enough information to help on our choices (first time there). Their sauces are great too based on your heat tolerance. Wife had the mild, I loved the hot but backed away from the volcano (perhaps in my younger days) Military discount was an added bonus!

My family has a tradition of eating BBQ for the winter holidays. This year, in the midst of a global pandemic, my mom's favorite BBQ place closed. With 4 days until the holiday, I was scrambling to find another authentic, highly rated BBQ spot in the Dayton area. Texas Beef & Cattle has some of the most kind and accommodating employees. They texted and personally communicated with me to ensure that my needs could be met. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Sooooo amazing, best beef ribs I have ever had! Also try the mild bbq sauce yummm! The owner was there and he was awesome showed us the smoke pit very nice place!

Found this gem while looking at the Wright Dunbar Historical District and the Dayton Walk of Fame. We had the pulled pork and brisket with beans, mac& cheese, and slaw. The pork was very good, brisket phenomenal, and beans were quite nice and spicy, with the touch of cilantro setting them apart as special. And Lone Star Beer! Being a native Texan, I’m very particular about my bbq, so giving this place 5 stars means something. We’ll definitely be back.

First time visit in Feb 2020 with family and friends; James and his team were excellent hosts. We sampled the menu with friends - chicken, sausage, brisket, mac & cheese, borracho beans - all of it was delicious! Also had the first cut of their new cheesecake item. Will be back today with business colleagues now that dine in at the patio is an option.

Driving through the area and searched for a place to eat. Directions were not clear but we did find it. Not well labeled. Enjoyed the old building and historic location. Server explained things well because the menu on Wall was not clear. Food was good. If it were closer we’d come back again. Enjoyed the soda in old style bottles. They need better signage. Facebook page could help.

Texas Beef and Cattle catered our wedding in October, and they were instrumental in ensuring our day was stress free, guests were well fed and were just all round professional and fun people to be around. From the very beginning Erin put us at ease with her willingness to go above and beyond, and troubleshoot any issues that might arise on the day without bothering us while we drank and danced the night away lol. I recall Erin mentioning her title at TBCC is the President of GSD (Getting "Stuff" Done) lol. After meeting with Erin and James a couple of times to set our expectations and the menu, we were 100% confident that TBCC would deliver. Erin and James were super professional and fun to work with leading up to and on the day, and really helped figure out the menu for 240 guest. The wedding reception was set in a barn, and the food was served in a tent just outside. It POURED rain from 9am to 9pm the day of the wedding. Erin wasn't kidding about her title, she executed the catering without missing a beat, under 2 inches of rain the fall on the day. She made sure they arrived were prepared after a 2 hour drive to the venue and she really does get "stuff" done. As well as the top notch service, their food is second to none. James is a ridiculously good pit master. It's very obvious from talking with him and tasting his food that James takes a lot of pride in his work. All our guests still talk about how delicious the food was that day. We credit Texas Beef and Cattle (Erin and James) with not only helping make our wedding the best day of our lives, but the most fun wedding we have ever been to. We will definitely be using them to cater another event for us in the future, and we trust them 100% to deliver superb food and service.
