Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

So glad they reopened!

Update,
First they've been closed forever, so we're excited they're finally open. Get there and they only take cards, and I knew they were going to flip the screen on us. Does anyplace just do their job anymore without asking for handouts? If we stop back and they're still only taking cards it will be our last time.

So good... Glad this was our first experience with this dessert. Wish there were more of them cause that other place is just ok.

The older gentleman running the counter was very condescending and annoyed that we did not call items by their proper names. He did not seem to know the difference between custard and Italian ice. I very much felt in his attitude that he didn't want us there and he didn't want to be there. This really degrade our experience. Pretty sure we won't be going back for a long time.

We were looking forward to stopping at Rita’s while we were in the area, as we don’t have one near by. When we arrived at 12:00, they were not open like their hours state. We proceeded to wait and a few minutes later an employee pulled into the parking lot and was let inside the building by someone else inside. Around 12:10 they finally opened the window blinds and turned on their open sign, so we got out the car and went to the window to order. There was an employee inside who looked towards us and then resumed to do things inside without helping us. We went back to the car and waited about 5 minutes before trying again. The employee was near the window when we walked up and made eye contact with us before walking away. We decided to leave after this attempt sadly. Maybe the hours should be updated if they aren’t going to serve people at their stated opening time or at least some communication could have been nice in this situation.

This place is amazing! The Italian ice is so refreshing and flavorful, you can tell it's homemade. They also have frozen custard that is seriously good, creamy and rich. The atmosphere is super family friendly, with plenty of seating and a fun vibe. We'll definitely be back for more soon!

Smooth and creamy, good food. Nice to sit outside and visit. Overpriced, $8 for a small custard

Would definitely recommend this establishment. I would say the variety hasn't been there the passed few visits. One time only vanilla custard, the next only chocolate. Not too many varieties of the Italian ice as well. However, it's AMAZING!!! I can usually find something but the last few times I didn't want to "settle" so I went to a different location ??

The custard was delicious. I wish they had more flavours of everything though. Service was quick but customer service was so-so. Good place for a quick sweet treat
