This is a bit of a sleeper place for the go-to place. The food is always consistent. The chicken strips and the cod are finished with a very crispy beer batter worth checking out. They also serve meatloaf with mashies and green beans.

This location of Rusty Bucket used to be a great location. It had fast friendly service, exceptional food, an awesome environment.Not so much anymore.When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't very busy, but we had two parties waiting in front of us. It took maybe 10 minutes or so to get seated.Ordering our drinks was fast and easy, but it took another 15 minutes to order our food. Which came out about 10-15 minutes later.The pizza was good, the cheese burger wasn't bad, the fries were on the cold side, and the blackened salmon salad was good as well.

I was very disappointed in my latest visit. We were seated at 6:20 p.m. and did not have anyone come over to the table to acknowledge us until 6:35. I received my food, chicken parmesan, and immediately asked for additional marinara sauce. Almost 20 minutes later the additional sauce was brought to the table. By then, my food was cold. During this entire time, we observed our server going to tables next to us, behind us, and in front of us asking them about their meal, but we never received the same courtesy. The next time we saw her was when she asked "are you ready for boxes"? I told her about my meal being cold and she said that "it was hot when I brought it to you." I told her that I was unable to eat it without the additional sauce because it wasn't enough for me. Her comment was "are you telling me you didn't eat any of it"? I was offended to say the least. I told her I did not want the food. I did not enjoy my meal. Although she did offer to have another order placed, I told her I needed to leave the restaurant within the next 20 minutes. She sighed and said she would take it off my bill. Not happy with this service at all. Not sure if I should continue to come here or not.

Service was fast with a smile. My party and I started it off with some dranks. Yes I said dranks, just as the menu is list the drinks under. The quirky menu helps set the vibe and atmosphere. They have 12 draft beers listed on a black board. I would hate to clean those erasers, that's right the draft beers rotate. A few more TVs would be nice but they aren't advertising as a sports bar, so one can't complain.

McKenna was personable and friendly. She checked on us without hovering. The adult beverages, Tanqueray and tonic and margaritas, were very good. The Trio was very tasty with a Caesar salad and French Onion soup. The Shrimp Scampi was delicious and although the second French Onion soup was overcooked, that was quickly corrected. Great experience. We'll return.
