I've stepped back in time! Literally and figuratively. Here for our high school reunion and decided to check out East Third Street restaurants and WOW! THIS PLACE!!! Everything so fresh and homemade. The hand pie was spectacular. We split it and had biscuits to start. Phyllis had the thyme and I had tge buttermilk, both amazing. They have an excellent assortment of teas if that's your preference. We had coffee and it was just like the coffee you'd get at diners. This place is hip old school and the vibe it This place with the attentive, fun wait staff made the whole experience so great. Glad we stopped in and we'll be back before we head home.

Food has always been great, but we hesitate going because of the repeatedly cold/bad service. For example, we asked to share a dish, and they served it on two plates then charged us a $4 split-plate charge without telling us. We have also visited with family from out of town, and every question about the menu was met with annoyance and short answers. We work in the service industry and understand a everyone had off-days, but consistently treating customers like this is not the way to run a business.

My wife and I stopped for lunch. The food was outstanding! I had a chicken salad BLT which was wonderful. I also had their Italian wedding soup that was so flavorful. My wife had their Caesar salad which came with a house made honey-Caesar dressing that is absolutely addictive! Not to mention the biscuit croutons… The staff were very friendly and welcoming! A charming and comfortable dining experience that I would highly recommend. The menu is not overly large, but everything we had was delicious, and the other patrons’ choices looked wonderful, too. Bravo, Justin and staff!!
Absolutely delicious. Had the B&G and some sort of blueberry cornbread. Killer. Will try again and consider upgrade to 5 stars when I return and go through their sammies.

Really excellent. The ladies there were really great. Excellent service and info. Lots of specials and unique items. The food was outstanding and folks there all looked like they a really enjoyed their food. What a combo. Great service and great food. It’s a tad pricy but well worth the premium for such a great lunch.
No hesitation that I would go back.

Awesome place to eat. Everything about this place is great, but the price is a little high. But you get what you pay for nowadays. Will definitely be back.

Great service and the food was delicious. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had and the croutons are from their own house made biscuits. Also had the crab dip and it was scrumptious. We will be back!

Biscuits and gravy are a staple in our house, especially when going on vacation. Ate here on our way out of state and was shocked at the prices; Even after traveling out to tourist traps a few days after I wasn't paying more than $16 for B&G+sides. Don't know they get $22 from. . .
