Actually terrible. I never review places so this is saying something. Took 2 hours to get our food. When it came out it tasted just bad. The sushi tasted like food poisoning.
This place is HUGE. Very good...certainly better than the Sichuan places we have in Cincinnati. A couple of things that keep it from 5 stars. They need to offer LAMB as a meat option and the menu could be a little more creative...i.e. offering hot pots, frog legs and tripe.

This is for all my wonderful customers... I was thinking about leaving Shen's for a step up, but I have decided to stay. This is my other home and the best place for me and my customers. Hope to see you all soon.

Main entrees were generous portions and tasted good. The sushi seemed less than fresh. Lots of tables unbussed which took away from the general atmosphere which seemed to be very dated and worn. The server, however, was fantastic!

Travelling through the area on Sunday, we picked this location due to the love it seems to get. First impressions- walking in you notice a general state of disrepair outside. Inside... many tables with dirty dishes, etc. Waitress noted that they were short staffed and had just finished the lunch rush. Ok... but no. The sense I got was that this place was "something" years ago. But nothing has been changed or kept up. The space is old and showing signs of wear.
The food- entrees were decent. Portion size was ok for the price and tasted ok. The sushi... fishy and definitely not fresh. We got the "Mr. Lee" roll. I have a feeling Mr. Lee would be disappointed to have his name on this.
In comparison with other places I have been the value for $$ is not there. Our server was fantastic but that can't make up for the other flaws. Bottom-line- avoid.

So glad I discovered this hidden gem. Went in with no idea of what to expect, but was extremely happy with everything. Tried so many different things waiting for something to disappoint. Nothing did. From the attentive friendly staff to the cleanliness of the dining area to the excellent food this was a great find.

The night we dined in, there was a huge crowd so service wasn't at its best. We waited a while before anyone noticed us at the front and as soon as we got seated, we waited a lot longer. We finally flagged someone down and asked if there was anyone covering our section to which we were advised "I don't know..." We decided to get up and leave but the manager quickly noticed we were on our way out and asked what could be done to change our minds and she found a server (Olivia) who was able to cover our table even though it was not her assigned area. Olivia ended up being the star server of the night! She took our orders and patiently tended to us even though it was apparent the entire staff was stressed out. Everyone enjoyed their meals (I gave 3 stars on my dish because I've had it better than it was that night and it was way too salty), but overall we ended up enjoying our stay. Only recommendation I have for the manager is to fix the front door because that thing is heavy and swings out and hits people before they finish clearing the doorway and to fix the tiles outside since they're broken up and can be a tripping hazard.
