Friendly staff and a great location! There is a huge backyard perfect for children and dogs. The beer is top flight with a constantly rotating variety of styles. Almost a second home.

Staff are great easy to talk to about their beer. Beer is really good and a good variety. Will go back

Greeted rudely by someone and the bartender requires the patron to take the payment to his cash register. The bar is not dog friendly. The patio is ok for dogs but has no music or service. The porter is tasty.

Southern Ohio Brewery is a must visit. The 'A Berry Blew Clue' was amazing. I typically like IPAs but this beer is a dessert while still being refreshing, and just the right balance of tart and sweet. The venue itself is outstandingand right off the bike path between Beavercreek and Xenia. I highly recommend!

Great beer and extremely kid friendly.

Great beer! We brought our own pizza and sat on the covered patio while it rained. Most Fridays there's a food truck and live music. Lots of kids running around and playing with blocks the bar lends out.

Hello! Just wanted to give you a heads up that our first experience here was a little rough. We live locally (really just down the street) and stopped by for the first time tonight at 7. We did know the place closed at 8. The bartender did not go out of his way to elaborate on the place or the drinks offered. At 7:30 he did last call, which was fine, but around 7:40 we asked if we could play the shuffle board and he said no. My husband and I are both respectful of closing hours.. but it was just kinda a rough first experience there. He didn’t really explain anything or seem ready to explain anything.

Would love to see more gf beers offered!

However, loved the atmosphere and location!

Beer in its natural environment... As it should be... Delicious, and much needed.

Had a great visit! Number 18 for us on the Dayton Ale Trail but number 1 in what matters! Met by Rocky the boxer holding his toy tire as I walked in (I would dog sit this good boy ANYTIME) then headed to the bar to grab a pint of Private Idaho. Best IPA I've had on my ale trail journey to date. Just the right amount of haze. Chased that with Walloon (solid Belgian Dubbel) then a half pour of the Helles and Cat on a Unicycle. All were top notch. This is a bit of drive for us but it will certainly be on our visit list this summer to enjoy the outside areas which are plentiful. No food truck last night so we grabbed a pizza from Old Scratch which is half a mile away. Bartenders were great and loved talking about the beer and the venue history. Had a great night and we got to watch the Reds put a beat down on the Angels in the Cactus League! Thank you!
